What does the AI edition of a map means ? I like the bots match but I'm so confused on what's different about the map.

@@mightydigebuge I imagine the maps aren't updated like regular maps, to stop from any changes breaking code. So probably just older versions of the maps, possibly more on top

@@mightydigebugeso, to my understanding to why the AI editions of the maps exist is primarily balance updates. My explanation may be a little off on the exact details, but the linux version of StarCraft 2 that the bot arena runs on and a lot of bot authors use stopped being supported at game version 4.10, and because of that, all aiarena matches are ran on version 4.10, but the maps are edited to have all the same balance changes as current day StarCraft. So an AI edition map is the same as the regular map, except it has been patched to have the current (or often one behind) balance patch applied to it to work on the older version.
