My dad had German relatives from whom he learned a little bit of German... Dad would call the "coffee" powder "ersatz" coffee... maybe the German text didn't appreciate the ersatz coffee!! 😄😄Some of the other German words he learned he used when he hammered his thumb by mistake, but wouldn't translate those words! 😆😅

Your cheese board belly band is super. That little mouse is so cute but I have to say I am one of those people who jump up onto a chair if one comes into the house. Once I went to my compost bin to put out the kitchen scraps and running around inside the bin were several little mice. I screamed and dropped the lid on quickly and ran into the house. Now when I empty the scraps I bang on the lid several times so that if there are any little mice inside they will run away and won't give me a fright.
