I believe the Cheetahs behaved like that because the robot gave no sign of fear whatsoever. Those animals are fine tuned into smelling and seeing reactions in their prey. They could even be able to smell hormonal changes. So if they see no fear response then that signals that the robot is stronger or more dangerous than them, which in turn makes them fear it. That's quite fascinating to observe. Makes me think the whole predator/prey interaction is such a dance. I also loved how at the beginning the 2 cheetahs passed walking as like they were dancing, they were sinched. Metal robot met flesh robots. Very cool!

This is fascinating. One takeaway is that the Cheetahs were not sure how to react to it because they have never encountered a "creature" like it. Cats have strong hunting instincts and those traits are genetic. Even a cat never taught to hunt a mouse can do it. However, nothing like the robot has been passed along in their genetic dispositions and it's a true "data out of range" moment.

I myself get uncanny valley vibes from the robot also. I think a lot of animals (humans included) are hardwired to be cautious of something that "isn't quite right" or just seems off. Even with my knowledge that this is a robot, that there is nothing wrong with it and there is nothing to be afraid of, there's still something inside of me that really doesn't like how unnatural the robot's movements are. Additionally, the robot doesn't act like prey, which is also throwing the Cheetah off. Just uncanny and strange all around.

Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES ❗️ *What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CHRIST can come anytime! I'm sure being in a little cage is shitty too, but most of these animals cannot go back into the wild without dying, so would you rather they be euthanized? Also, a lot of zoos do heavy conservation work for the animals that do live in the wild, especially dealing with repopulation of endangered animals. Don't forget that the animals in the zoo are ambassadors for their wild counterparts on top of not being suitable for release back into the wild. That's not even mentioning that these are big cats that would gladly eat these little screaming kids, not a rabbit who's heart can explode if you look at it directly for too long.
