Thank you so much for having Chef AJ on. I am fighting stage 4 cancer and her new series on her channel has helped me tremendously in different areas of my life. Chef AJ and her guests have also helped deepen my faith, which is the main thing getting me through. Cancer obviously sucks and I think it isn't talked about like it should be, so things are assumed, which are often incorrect. And things are said by friends and family that are meant to be helpful, but people just don't know unless they've gone through it or had a close person in their life go through it. Hopefully, Chef AJ's new direction on her channel can bring to light many of the truths surrounding cancer and cancer treatments. Plus, help cancer patients be better advocates for themselves, which has made all the difference for me (palliative care is also key). And, of course, to also continue to give hope.

"Life has been given, and life has been taken away. Life and death are one even as the river and the sea are one. Death is only a horizon, and a horizon is but the limit of our sight." Beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

AJ I am so glad you are doing IFS with your trusted practitioner. My oldest brother was a practitioner and I know he helped so many people heal from their issues. He passed away from colon cancer in 2022. He thought that the emotional piece was all that was needed. I am so glad you have a multi faceted approach to your healing journey. You have got this!

Don’t know what it is about that lady. I have never met her (except in KZbin), but I sure love her. Every time I hear her talk about her diagnosis, I feel goosebumps and a surge of love towards her. Thanks for having her on Rip. It was good to get an update.

Thank you, Rip for having Chef AJ on today. I will always be tremendously grateful to her since stumbling on her podcast five years ago and she was able to turned everything around for me. I have successfully been whole food plant based reaching my goals ever since. You are both inspirations while continuously supporting this wonderful community with your knowledge, love and commitment. Thank you, you’re greatly appreciated!

The comment AJ made that "I feel like I've let people down" ABSOLUTELY BROKE ME!!!! First of all, nothing could be further than the truth!!!! And second of all, if there is one thing we all know is that any disease that can NOT be prevented from taking hold of our bodies will have a MUCH easier time doing it if the body is ALSO having to fight all the diseases WFPB CAN prevent or heal.

I think the big thing about forgiveness is that God wants us to do it. Regardless of what you believe now, someday we all will hope that God will be forgiving of us. Matthew 6: 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Yeshua taught this but he also knew that hanging on to unforgiveness is toxic to us. (Not saying this has any connection to AJ’s cancer.) We’ve all been hurt by people and some of them are dead. I find just saying out loud that “I forgive --- for what they did.” It might feel hard but just do it and let it go. Sometimes I’ll just leave it in God’s hands and tell him I need him to take it.
