Its reformed chicken. Scraps, boiled, soaked in salt water and preservatives, pressed into a huge sausage and then sliced often packaged in 40 or 60 slices. It comes out of a plastic pack, smelling of old farts because of the sulphur released in the chicken. It is dirt cheap, normally used as a basic component of a basic, low effort sandwich. The ham is also processed the exact same way, which is why the only difference in this video is whether it is pink or grey. There is less texture in these 'sandwich' meats than there is in a chicken nugget.

No joke, there is a place for amateur cooking channels. Not everyone who tries to cook cares about reaching or will reach even an average home cook level of competence. Some people just want to throw a few things together without really thinking about it and make something that's filling and tastes reasonably good. We need cooking channels for people who have no cooking skills but still need to cook something edible. The light you see on the coils in the stove is emitted by the coils themselves. You'd need quite a lot of power to heat the thick tempered glass top that covers the stove top, so they have to be red hot. Not so much on the stoves where the pan rests directly on top of the heating coil. As per your video, I noticed you speaking over the video whilst it's playing making you miss things and, in this particular one, the best joke in the entire video.

So you know. The eye of most electric stoves is just a cast iron with a positive/negative connection that heats the metal. I am always dying to see what recipes she is using. She often will say, “It says, “they said” in reference to the recipe or chef but never gives the source. The only one that I could trace was the Queen’s chocolate pie. I then suspect a second one was one of those “joke” trends to making something awful that Kay believed was legit: wrapping raw ground beef clumps in the middle of uncooked spaghetti bundles with marinara poured over it in a dish that is baked. I suspect she looks at a recipe once (probably mostly from videos), and she doesn’t write it down or go back for reference. Fascinating specimen.

For me, it was Chef Brian's face when Kay showed the finished product. His face was frozen in shock and I was dying 😂😂😂😂

15:52 It looks quite a light color for pork ham, it's probably some sliced chicken ham, not as popular as turkey ham, but it's a thing.

6:25 u don't even need to crush them, just slicing it in the middle, place them with the cut side down and voila, u can cut those however u like in a safe manner without some fancy chef bs....or get a mortar and pestle and skip this whole part

Digging the reactions Chef Brian. The square bottle of whisky on his table is "Nikka From the Barrel" and is cask strength.

I don't think I've been able to pick my jaw up through this video 🤣 no way this is real. It can't be. I refuse to believe she was sincerely attempting fried rice with raw rice and canned peas

The irony is that an induction cooker would've helped because at least you can set it to maintain a stable temperature, instead of massively overheating like the heating coil.

When she dumped that raw rice on top of the burnt garlic 😮 I’m in shock.

Oh, one of those bottles by the Yamazaki is a bottle of Nikka from the barrel. Really nice and a lot more affordable than the aged stuff atm.

NGL, if I was ever offered anything that looked remotely like that, I wouldn't even touch the plate. I would just stand there, and give them the death stare. Even my first EVER attempt at egg fried rice (which I fucked up) was 100x better than that steaming heap of crunchy refuse.

I don't use my wok often. But when i do, i take that section of the cast iron grate on my 16000btu gas burner and turn it to the side, just to support the wok from tipping forward, and i can keep it at its highest heat in a home type setting. It's not a proper wok burner, but its the best i can manage with the tools i have. My stove is stainless steel, with cast iron grates, and is natural gas. So it's basically bulletproof. All the burner tops are cast iron as well, so a wok on them doesn't worry me about any sort of damage at all. If a stove is 100% clean and absolutely scratch free? You're not actually cooking.
