This is a color palette and semi-script MAP about US history featuring Countryhumans United States. The events are listed in the end credits along with the animators. Each part represents a different event in US history.
Major controversial/sensitive or recent events are being left out. It just seems tacky to mention those in an upbeat MAP about a cartoon ya’feel? All countries have terrible histories and America is no different, we acknowledge that. This MAP is just not the right place to have a discussion about it. I didn’t forget anything. I could only pick so many events. If it was left out that doesn’t make it unimportant, I just couldn’t find a place for it OR it was way too controversial and I didn’t feel right putting it in. I wanted this MAP to be an upbeat american history map that appealed to everyone in the fandom AND outside of it (you must admit a walking swastika is a huge turn off for people outside the fandom) I didn’t want it to be another “edgy map by those nazi-fetishists in the countryhumans fandom eheheh!1!1!” and I thought it would be a distraction to have those characters here. I thought people would focus more on them than the actual subject. Although it seems I made a mistake since now the censor is the distraction- My bad!

Even the lyrics matched “'I’m your only friend I'm not your only friend But I'm a little glowing friend But really I'm not actually your friend But I am” sort of insinuates the UK and US’ relationship at that time. I was imagining the UK saying that to the US. I found it quite sad. Then this part comes 0:14 saying “Who watches over you?” As if the UK is asking that in response to America’s rebellion. I always imagined the UK being sort of overprotective and bit selfish. He likely interpreted America’s actions as an act of betrayal against him. Like any other overprotective parent that experiences their child wanting to be on their own, they want their kid depending on them forever because they can’t let go.

"I’m your only friend, i’m not your only friend, but really i’m not actually your friend" is a perfect summary of how the relations between britain and america broke down holy hell, 'im your only friend" -> only contact w/ europe and politics was britain, relied on britain for resources like iron, tools, other resources "im not your only friend" -> the colonies become independent and start having politics not involving britain such as being politically warm w/ france, britain’s hated, bitter rival, and britains influence on america diminishes as they gain thier own culture separate from britain’s "but really im not actually your friend" -> the taxes and tariffs, monarchy in britain start using colonies for money, relations break down and there's tension, america gets resentful of Britain and the redcoats shot a bunch of protestors, and many americans start thinking about revolution, then the actual revolutionary war where they fight each other Also, "It's always near + who watches over you" when the cold war starts??? its perfect??? bc the whole 'red scare' happened and everyone spied on eachother and the propaganda at the time??? IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE! AHHHHH I am just going to appreciate the crap out of this, let's go- Can we appreciate how it seems really nice and cute with GB and USA having that soft moment in the beginning? Then USA goes full smug bastard and I adored the facial expression in the first part of the revolution, especially with Boston Tea Party and him posing with the flag. And then when France just grabs UK's shoulder, like 'Oh shit mum joined the fight'. I love how she just looks over at UK, 'you up to that stuff again?' Then just how good the art is with UK surrendering?! The colours, the shading?! Beautiful to the eyes Industrial revolution USA looking like a skinny smart bastard over the blueprints, like I can't say more than I love it Oh boy the burning of Washington, USA's expression made me feel BAD for the boy. The was so smooth, like those moments in movies when everything seems to be going down The Gold rush part, again *the expression* was...golden you could say. The transition to the start of the civil war? Had me shooketh, cleared my skin with how smooth and good that was. AND THE START OF THE CIVIL WAR DON'T GET ME STARTED. Has to be one of my fav parts next to the opening and burning of Washington. God knows how long that animation took and I swear I replayed that part at least three times when I first saw it. And the great Deppresion, the colour scheme fit so well and such a contrast with the bright colours of victory! And just how sad he looks, like he has no idea what to do! Why does everybody look so handsome/pretty/whatever else at the Nato part? Like I swear and THE SMOOTH TRANSITION WITH WHO WATCHES OVER YOU, with him looking at the USSR! Like how the spying began, and I could see it as a possible nod to McCarthyism, with everybody afraid of communism and its possible spread to the USA. Though you did say you didn't want to include the 'darker' parts which I respect The Korean wars! Whooo boy! South Korea's slide being smoother than butter and how N Korea clenches his hand with the hammer and sickle there and it just looks so good?! And I will admit I snickered at the punch. Felt very deserved I will very much also appreciate with te Cuban crisis, that it is included that the USA also had weapons in Turkey which honestly probably had scared the USSR the same way that USA was with Cuba. Vietnam war *chefs kiss* the simplistic, but very easily understanble fight of the two ideologies USA looking funky in the 80s made me smile a lot for some reason. It's probably the hair and glasses The skateboard part, with a small blink and you miss it drawing of a NASA sticker and some W (not familiar that much with american culture or their stuff so could be something important that I am missing on?). I have to appreciate that the artist included it, even if many might miss it THE FURBY THE GOD DAMN FURBY! Bow down before god Furby, 90s were wild y'all. Really lighthearted and made me really smile The sum up felt so cool! Especially since the small neon part was included, making me pause for a second. I will admit going through this again, I paused at 2:54 with I am guessing them finding Nazi germany dead and I am horrible but their expressions made me cackle. With varied shock from America being the most, surprised UK (and his lil monocle), to the USSR who is just: well damn. And the USSR having those pointy teeth, oddly fits him This is really way too long, I have to say that every artist and animator did wonderful! And you Chef for putting it all together, thank you for hosting it too! It is honestly one of my favourites projects of yours, only being beaten by Party like a Russian, Cold War and Hard Knock World. It probably took a lot of effort and I adore every second. Thank you!

Is it ok if i say something if yes well... : I like that they added Japanese Empire /Imprial Japan at 1:33 at the end of WWI since most forget Japanese Empire /Imperial Japan was there in WWI , they joined WWI 1914 sinced they were alliance with Great Britian, they declared war on German Empire ( Germany ) and so they joined WWI like that . Sorry if this comment does not make any sense but hey you learned a little bit of history maybe from this to use in online History class and if your teacher says " N o your wrong , they never join WWI. They only joined WWII. ". Then tell them to Google it up and learn more about History befor teaching us ok ? ( Also im a lower class and im not even at the right class level for WWI & WWII but i dont mind learning things befor my other classmates do :D , also if anybody said no welp its to late. See, Countryhumans can be rubbish a lot of the time, but this is one of the many exceptions and masterpieces of the fandom. Well done, with the 1900s stuff and especially Cold War, I liked how sometimes it matches with the beat of the music, I can’t describe it that well but this was just great, well done.

It also makes me proud of this fandom, I believe that it can grow into something much more educational if we keep having things like this piece of art in it.
