Great video Jack I love how you cook and show simple ways and ingredients to use that are affordable to people on low income like me on a disability allowance having ingredients that last longer than others and can be reused when needed without a very short time to use them and the ingredients are good for a wide range of simple recipies. Great job Jack youre a true star with a huge range of very palatable of easy recipies

If y'all can find queso Oaxaca cheese and poblano peppers that's what you should use. Queso Oaxaca is a white cheese that's similar to low moisture mozzarella or what might be considered as pizza cheese in the USA but it's also like string cheese. It's easy to grate and has a salty, barely funky taste and aroma. It's the ultimate Mexican melting cheese. Also the poblano chili peppers take a little more prep than regular bell peppers but they're worth it.

I think I will brown the mince meat well to get the crunchy texture and swap the old el paso salsa for tomato paste and garlic. Then deglaze with white wine which I think will give a good flavor. Don't know which spices I will use though, whatever I feel like at the moment. Thanks for the idea! I will cook it tomorrow :)

Hi Jack. Thank you for the recipe. I wanna share with you the way I make guacamole. I add red onions, cilantro and tomato (Remove the watery part, use only meat) to avocado. I believe it is the closest version to authentic Mexican guacamole. Trust me, it makes burrito to taste so much better. I use the same recipe of guacamole for tacos as well.

Just made this and it was terrific! I added beans and capsicum/onion to mince after it was cooked. Made it easier to dish out later. I also googled it and it turns out these are a quesadilla not burrito, as burritos have rice in them and quesadilla do not.

This looks great Jack! As part of my meal prep I've been cooking 1.5 kg of lean beef by spreading it out on a sheet pan and putting it under a 450f broiler for 15 minutes. If I used this method to make the turkey mince for this recipe do you think the spices would burn if I had added them in at the start or am I better off letting it cook for ten minutes and adding the spices at a later stage, or even after the turkey has been fully cooked? Normally I'm making eight to ten portions of each of my meals so I love the convenience of the sheetpan method!
