Chef I agree with you that you just have to choose your battle and pikit ang mata mo. 😅 This is what I did earlier when I was eating with a family friend who invited us for lunch after harvesting veggies from their garden! Chef, thanks for your informative vlog. Camille’s Shanghai food experience has enriched the vlog too. I stayed in Makati on and off for many years and never discovered that beef noodle place. I used to walk along Makati Avenue and never once looked across the street from Berjaya Hotel. I will go there on my next trip to Manila.

I ate here. Killer hand pulled noodles. Nice braised beef. Rich broth, spicy but not obnoxious. Homemade chili oil if you want to heat it up. Great staff. I will visit again for the fried noodles version.

Chef jp na try ko na Po Yan dito sa malate branch nila pero nag close na Po yun. Actually nag expect Ako Ng sobra pero di Po Ako nasarapan sa beef noodles nila. Baka depende ata sa branch at sa nag luluto. Meron akong kinakain Ng beef noodles legit Chinese din mga nakain at may ati. Sobrang sarap tlga. Tapos 2h lang Po sya.

I think that that beef noodle soup is similar to the ones in Taiwan. I worked in Taiwan in the late 90s and the first time I tried it there akala ko di nahugasan ng mabuti yung bowl kasi lasang sabon. Nung sinubukan ko ulit sya sa ibang place naman ganun pa din ang lasa nya parang may sabon kaya di ko sya nagustuhan. It was only about 7 or 8 years ago that I found out that I have cilantro-hater genes at ang sign na meron ka nun ay lasang sabon sayo ang cilantro.
