Recipe
- 500g flour
- 85g sugar
- 95g egg
- 55g margarine/butter
- 13g yeast
- 140g - 160g water ( depending on the type of flour you’re using)
Kneading time with mixer - 15mins
Kneadingtime with hands - 25-30mins
Make sure to beat dough, this will make it lighter, stretchy and airy.
Use active dry yeast for perfect risen dough.
Different flour absorbs water differently ‼️ If your dough turns out to be very hard try adding a little water to reach the consistency as seen in the video. and when it’s too watery add little flour.
⚠️ Be careful not to add too much water.
Dough made with bread flour absorbs slightly more liquid due to the flour's higher protein level
When frying you will notice how the donuts will be floating on top of the oil that shows how well the donuts have risen.
