Pastry with Sesame
Five cups of flour (200 ml)
A cup of warm water
A teacup of milk
A teacup of oil
One teacup of melted butter
Two tablespoons of granulated sugar
A coffee spoon of salt
30 g fresh yeast
An egg
150 g cheddar/mozarella cheese
For coating:
Three tablespoons of molasses/syrup
Two tablespoons of water
A bowl of roasted sesame
Preparation:
We melt the butter in a pan, pour the milk on it and make it warm. We take water, oil and all the fluids into the mixing bowl, add yeast, mix with sugar and melt, then add eggs, flour and salt, and get a soft dough. We cover it with stretch film and leaven it for 1 hour in a warm environment. Then we cut it into 29 pieces and roll them out in our palms, fill them with diced cheese and roll them back as I show in the video. Then dip in molasses and sesame and turn them upside down. Take them on a tray lined with baking paper, keep them for 10-15 minutes for another leavening, then bake them in a preheated 180-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. They came out great!
