I'll try this tomorrow for breakfast. Can I use whole wheat flour instead of Maida? I made it. It was so delicious! Loved it! I did make a few changes. 1. I used Aata (whole wheat flour) instead of Maida. 2. I didn't use coriander powder in the filling. I made it more traditional lasagna flavour with garlic, oregano and added some red chilli powder to it. 3. I also baked it in an oven because I have and oven. I don't have a cast iron Tava though. So baked it for 6 minutes at 375 then broiled on high for 2 minutes to get the cheese a little brown.

1st of all Besan has its own taste which Maida doesn't have..but since u asked about textural change so Maida sheet will be stretchy and besan will have fluffiness..Try making cheela with only Besan batter..it breaks apart easily but if u add Whole wheat flour to besan it becomes a bit stretchy and it adds softness to it but if u add All purpose flour the stretchiness and softness will be more than from whole wheat flour.. If u do with only Maida and u are making cheela then it won't have any taste of its own.. If u want to learn more of texture and taste then try making Cheela with them separately and then with the mix.. U will understand it better
