I have very fond memories of queueing up at the Baker's with our own customized recipe ingredients .. rum soaked fruits nuts and raisins .. I remember the overnight job of cutting the nuts to smaller bits .. if they are not they are heavier and tend to settle at the bottom while .. the secret ingredient is the flavour of nutmeg and some other spices which gives them the indian twist.

Yes baked finally... Ranveer my son just loved the cake and this was soft as snow...I hv nvr baked a softer version of 🍰. N yes i made the eggless version(curd+ flaxseed powder) since i m a vegetarian.

This cake looks like the vanilla slice cake by monginis which we used to get for rs. 5.. You brought back those memories. I used to love that cake but i stopped eating when i found out it contained egg. Ranveer can u recreate that taste without using eggs?
