Is there a strainer in the milk because it came out looking like it's lumpy and not smooth
@savaandjelkovic28473 жыл бұрын
When you heat the almonds so much, doesn't the oil separate from the almonds and the almonds are literally cooked and that's why they look lumpy? And another question, isn't heated oil so harmful for us, and it loses all its nutrients? (processed almond milk is also available in stores) in my opinion, if you want quality almond milk, the best option is Vitamix. Don't waste money on this machine is not worth it because you get colored boiled water with boiled almonds and separated oil and it DOES ONLY THAT. You can do much more with Vitamix ;)

It doesn’t appear to have a filtration system. Is there pulp when you drink it? Are you still happy with it?
@Gadgetify2 жыл бұрын
I mainly use it for cashew and coconut milk to be honest. I am happy with it. It's convenient.
@readingest Жыл бұрын
There is no "pulp" filtered out b/c pulp in other machines are just the nut matter that couldn't be ground fine enough. This machine grinds all the nut matter into the drink (it will settle so it does require stirring/shaking). This is why it can use so few nuts compared to other machines.

How much time do you need to make soy milk from raw soy beans?
@drich7437 Жыл бұрын
All around a bad item My family bought this for Christmas for me. I tried it and it worked the first 5 times. I did 1/2 recipes. Then it threw an error code of e15, call the manufacturer. They would not talk to me because I did not purchase it. My son finally talked then into replacing. They asked us to cut the electrical cord and toss. After a long wait we recieved a brand new one. This one only lasted 1 pot before it threw the e15 error. I tried both of them numerous times after the code, but they just don't work. The milk that we got was watered down or chunky. We can no longer return them. Researched a little and they are not designed for use above low altitude. So if you live at 2,000feet it may work. I also did not like that it had to go through the whole milk making process to clean. Each time it would throw an error I would have to unplug it, attempt to clean everything manually and then run a 15 minute cycle to clean it, which usually resulted in another error code. Don't buy

On the contrary, they will be even fatter and sicker. I'm just telling the truth because I support health. Who wants to listen to me great, who doesn't want great. :) Let's be realistic and pay a little more attention to our body and health because we only have one body. As for Vitamix, it was an example because I use it. Use any blender, just not that machine if your health is more important. Cold pressed oil does not exceed a temperature of 30 degrees (86 F) And this machine goes over 100 degrees (212F)When you heat hazelnuts or almonds to that temperature, what happens? Has anyone figured out a way to make it NOT automatically clean after the milk is done? Sometimes I want to do a second batch right away, and it seems wasteful (and time-consuming) to clean between them.

I’ve unplugged it Right after the milk is done. It has worked so far! 😅

I don't have one yet, but it seems that it will detect when the water level is low, so you could intentionally not fill the tank up all the way, so it stops after making the milk.

One more question. Im loving this machine and have been using it for months now. However the grinding blades seems to need a bit more cleaning. Is there a way to remove it to wash it by hand? None of these parts seem removable. Am i missing something? Thanks!

I honestly have not attempted to remove the blade. I simply followed the cleaning instructions: mychefwave.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/CW-NMM_MANUAL.pdf. But the blade doesn't seem removable. At least, it is not obvious to me how to do so.

I have heard they are very similar. I don't exactly know what the differences are to be honest. I do know this makes nut milk very very well :) When I got it, it was even cheaper. Amazon had it for $159 I think. Now they upped the price to $199

There are a lot less options available. For example fruit juice, rice paste, and dense soy milk presets are missing. There is also no scheduling options. Other than that it seems to be functionally the same machine. If you're just looking for milk maker for dry nuts/beans etc this is totally fine.
