What I love about your videos are that they are such a positive encouragement and example to our young gymnasts. I love that you are able to listen to your body and when your ankles are hurting you take it easy because like you said, there is no reason to push it! Learning the double double is so cool! Major props! Love that you are doing this journey on your own terms. You are an inspiration Arabian Queen! Keep at it as long as it is still fun and you are healthy :-) On a sidenote I was watching a montage video the other day of the 'greatest floor combos ever' and of course they included your whip whip double arabian, just further solidifying your status as the all-time Arabian Queen. Slay queen!

I’m curious what your routine would look like? Straddle full, front tuck, bhs+loso, switch leap, back tuck, split jump +straddle jump, illusion turn, front aerial, aerial cartwheel, round off+double pike EEDDDDCC= 3.2 + 2.0= 5.2 With the piked barani, pike front, Arabian, switch half, switch mount FEEEEDDD=3.8+2.0= 5.8 I’m curious if you will go for connection bonus? You rock!

@jasonwong17344 жыл бұрын
Chellsie Memmel wow I can’t believe you replied! The connections don’t have to be a lot... this quad has competitive beam around 6.2 to 6.5 So perhaps Bhs-loso-loso .2 cv Switch-switch half-back tuck .3 cv Front tuck-split jump- straddle jump .2cv .8 plus the upgrade 5.8 is 6.6! You totally got this look out WAG the new MEMMEL IS HERE!

Nathaniel Halls i think on floor half turns are not counted. So 1.5 is only credited as full turn and 2.5 is only credits as a double turn. It’s weird because the Half turns are counted on beam 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

Chellsie I was curious to know if you would be willing to try a scissor into a flair on the beam as a entry skill to get onto the beam. I believe the last time I asked if you had given thought to it you said no but wanted to see if you would be willing to try it. No female has done it yet. It would be great to get another skill named after you. I know that may not be the but just thought I'd ask. You're great.

I've been a close follower of your gymnastics since 2003 - 2004? I think it was 2003. I know you've been doing the illusion turn for ages, but why this element? I know it's super difficult and I've really only seen you do it. Also, is it risky? I'm not sure if my memory is failing me, but wasn't it the illusion turn that got you injured before to the Beijing Olympics?
