As far as I can tell, no one - not even the Chelsea players - saw any issue with Endo's positioning during the van Dijk goal. That felt very much like VAR were looking really closely to find something they could use to disallow it. Not implying a deliberate anti-Liverpool bias - more likely it was just them trying too hard, or possible driven by fear of appearing biased the other way.

Regarding Carraghers comments on the disallowed goal for LFC. Whilst it might come across as LFC bias, I think he made an honest point. Using the denying an opponent the chance to stop the header with a blocking move is commonplace, particularly on goalkeepers, but as mentioned I very much doubt any other goals will be disallowed for that reason this season, the games would constantly be restarting etc. No problem if this rule is enforced, supporters just want consistency from the officials.

I think George needs to give his head a wobble. In those eight years Klopp has taken Liverpool to three Champions league finals, a Europa league final, lost the premier league by one point - twice! - to 115 Charges FC - and has won everything there is to win besides. Liverpool are a sell-to-buy club, always have been - look at the Coutinho sale and the club's net spend, its incredible compared to City, Chelsea and Man United. Chelsea fan here (supported since 1989 so not glory Hunter or plastic). First off, Liverpool deserved to win, zero argument. We didn’t take our chances and then caved in extra time. I hope Poch and players learn from this, you don’t score, you don’t win. Is Klopp a legend, damn right he is, will I miss him in the PL, yep. I won’t miss him beating us in finals though! The only issue I have with yesterday was the commentary team. Carragher (spits at kids) was so hard for Liverpool it was embarrassing. Drury sounded like he had a tier one orgasm when VVD scored his first goal (should have stood for me). Neville is Neville, mayor of Manchester who believes his own hype. What has he ever done? Won the Premier League Won the Champions League Won the FA Cup Won the League Cup twice Won the Super Cup Won the Club World Cup Won the Community Shield against City Did all this and brought Liverpool back to the top of the pyramid on a significantly less budget than the competition and without breaking the rules. He has turned countless good players into world beaters and forged a bond with not only those players but the people and supporters of Liverpool FC. He could have had a couple more titles. He finished 1 point behind money cheat code City twice and lost one of those because of poor officiating when they allowed a handball goal to the Mancs against Everton. But even fighting against the officials and the financial juggernaut that is Man City he has still given Liverpool every honour besides the Europa League since he came in. And there's still time for that yet with yet another (hopefully) deep run into the illustrious quadruple. Oh, and he beat Chelsea in our last 3 finals against eachother. "What has he ever done?" Prior to Boehly the Chelsea model was, bring someone in win big trophies immediately, falter get sacked, bring in the next one win big trophies immediately, falter get sacked and so on. Klopp has only won one Prem and one Champions league in nine years. He has won three domestic trophies yes but they are not big trophies. Klopp has made Liverpool into a fantastic outfit top to bottom but when people look back on his trophy record it will be sparse compared to Ferguson, Mourinio, Pep, and Ancelotti etc.
