My first game was against Derby County at Stamford Bridge in 1968, cant remember if the score ws 1-1 or 2-2. I was 11 and my mum dropped me at the entrance and told me to ask any one who looked official, where to find my seats, that was OK, it was when the game finished when it become a problem, 50 odd thousand giants all heading in different directions, I didnt know which direction I was headed in and I started to panic, luckily one of the giants asked me where I needed to get to and helped me find the meeting place I had arranged with my mum. I cant imagine letting me kids at that age walk alone into a mass of people. The FA Cup win in 1970 still stands out to me because it was the first time I experienced success as a Chelsea and back then the FA Cup was second only to the World Cup. I went from that first to being relegated and playing teams like Huddersfield but I stuck with it, you dont change your team, ever. I wonder how many fans today would stick with Chelsea if they ever got relegated.

My story was totally different as I was born in an Arsenal kit. My grandad lives in Islington so it made sense, we were homeless so had to live with grandparents. When my parents eventually got their jobs they saved hard to put mortgage down for their first house. Now live in NW London, a small town all Kingsbury (Next to Wembley). I was around 3-4 years old when my uncle who supported Chelsea got me my first kit. Because I was constantly surrounded by my Chelsea supporting side of the family I gravitated that way. I was a very basic supporter, could only tell you the starting 11 and struggle doing so. I’m now 24 years old, could only afford to go to my first game last year but have been a supporter for over 17 years! I could name everyone on loan, the full squad as well as teams dating back to before I was born. I love my club, we are Chelsea!!!

This made me remember my first Chelsea game. 2012 F.A cup quarter final (6th round) Against Leicester City. a fantastic 5-2 victory with Torres ending a 24 hours goal drought. 3 games and 4 years later i still remember that same game. i am now cant wait to grow up and get my season ticket with Chelsea in the future. People may think i am a glory hunter (being from north London) but i will always know that i will be Chelsea , though thick and thin. Thanks for retaining these great memories Chelsea fan, 15

+Johnny Blazzee it would have been alot cheaper to go to games back then compared to now, plus terraces were still used in 1991 which would have made tickets even cheaper, terraces are still used at my local sports grounds, Gaelic Football though.

Only 18 and started in the 02//03 season, but Dad was a supporter as way back in the 71 CWC. Ive done the legend tours with Harris and Tambling etc, ive met Zola, Lamps, Wise, JT and Drogba, ive met chelsea fans channel briefly, ive gone to loads of key games in europe and the league not just glory moments but struggles, met loads of old blues fans and eard stories like this, always in shed/mh stand, obsessive football follower. Great film and nice to see an old mate, Kelvin involved. He speaks for many of us who were part of the huge away followings we had back in the 70's and 80's. That '97 cup win meant so much after all the years of disasters on and off the pitch. Still the longest post game celebrations n the stadium. 2012 too. Just when we thought it just was never to be, the 'old guard' came through and done the business.

Im a (not too typical American) I was raised on American Football. That was, and still is the main sport. We felt rejects chose soccer. Im 42, my son at 14 wanted to try soccer because he got a concussion and football was a no go. He practiced by himself prior to the season. A nimon school team nearby, needed a player desperately, he scored the win and was carried off. Now Im the worlds biggest convert. I wish so much I had played. Im writing here because I chose chelsea as my English team of choice, love the name and colors. This is my first video to learn about Chelsea. My son whose 16 and a sophomore has already been sent letters from colleges, he still has 2yrs of highschool soccer left.#iseeblue
