I know Desolation Of Eden had a lot too but I felt like Ashes To Ashes could've been better. If you listen to Evolve, it's a lot of melodies and technical stuff going on and they didn't bring that into Ashes To Ashes.

You're fucking stupid. The reason most people are complaining is because lyrically and musically it's garbage. When they had clean vocals I thought that they used it well and the lyrics were interesting and the instrumental kept me entertained. When ashes to ashes came around sure it had more technical solos here and there but there was still lots of just open note filler chugging. I could live without it but i still liked the album for the most part. But here they just completely didn't give a fuck. I cannot pick out any actual riff except chugging and the lyrics are just on a whole other level of cringe.

Saw Chelsea at Warp Tour in Charlotte this past July. They were absolutely fantastic. One of the top acts of the day. Between Chelsea and Motionless it was hard to pick who I liked the best. You'll be hard pressed to find any heavy genre vocalist using anything else than false chord. It is just a combination of throat technique and the positioning of your mouth and tongue to do gutterals. Which you'd be surprised how much of an impact it can have on the sound that comes out. Something that could be called a pig squeal though is very possible with a fry screaming technique. However most fry screamers just shout their asses of (Austin Carlile being a big one)
