Everyone has opinions. Let us not bash people for them. However, I feel this band has done well with their progression. It's not the constant chugging anymore, also more definition to their melodies and vocals. I love it. Don't get me wrong, I love the old Chelsea Grin; but I love the new sound as well. Also, why bash people for what music they like? Come on people. Seriously? Everyone has their preferences. All genres are good, usually. But there are different things that grabs the liking of each individual. So what you interpret, may be total opposite of what the other may interpret. So quite the bashing. I don't bash rap lovers because I disfavor it.

I like this, but if I'm honest I prefer the more poetic, trudging and dark lyrics/vocal style of My Damnation. Their best album, IMO. None of the repetitiveness, none of the half-scream-half-shout stuff. Purely monstrous vocals and heavy music. I also don't much care for all the synth they use in the more recent songs. The newer stuff isn't terrible, it's just not the sound I prefer to hear from these guys. They sound a bit too much like Born of Osiris meets BMTH

+Dallin Corman I can't really argue too much about chelsea, but tbh I think their newer albums are better ever since the Evolve EP. Idk about lyrically, but as far as vocally I could barely stand his vocals before that EP. His highs were too annoying to me and I actually prefer their new stuff. And I think why his vocals changed is probably cause he had damaged his own vocals from the way it sounds. Even on the Evolve EP his lows sounded more powerful, but this EP he barely uses them and sounds like he's trying to get force it out.

Dallin Corman No there's not at all, if your doing it correct there should never really be an issue, your voice will (or likely will) and can change up overtime but the mimic ability for other vocalists should still be there and the general sound, and only expanding abilities.
