nice call about instead of e/w doing place bets last cheltenham had 5 placed winners out of 6 great bet only problem you mentioned sky bet ,flutter closed my 3 accounts with them thinking i have or had a gambling problem only been betting 45 years or more now so if you find place betting can you please highlight in next few shows please

Have a nagging feeling that the John Durkan Chase at Punchestown might not have been as good as we originally thought. The fact that GdC was well beaten in that race indicated the race was impressive but GdC had missed work before that race & it's 2m4f when the GdC needs 3m+. Fact to File was well beaten over 3m at Christmas & Spillane's Tower was comprehensively beaten in the KG. I'd be wary of putting too much faith in the John Durkan form until I see more evidence.

Do you think that they will send one of Fact to File or Spillanes Tower to the Ryanair, purely because of what’s happened since the John durkan? Ian

@thecheltenhamexchange yes I do. But I'd have my doubts about either winning the Ryanair. Spillane's Tower is not in the Gold Cup - only in the Ryanair. Fact to File is in Ryanair & GC. Spillane's Tower will be in Ryanair & FtF in the GC - I wouldn't be in a rush to back either.

The bookies' odds on anti post Cheltenham are a total joke this year. A horse wins a race, and the price is cut so much that you will get better odds on the day.

champion hurdle looks brilliant for con hill if you have him at 13/8 up to 4/1 like i got last few months everyone says lossi was not right but she had a run how much will con hill improve after a whole year i say 7-10 pounds and no way the mare will be within 8 lenghts of him the bet if you missed con hill which i have stared to get is stateman i hope to get some decent place money on him as soon as i can but do have a few e/w bets at 11/1 and even 14/1

Sir Gino looks very impressive, but..... Majborough won the Triumph hdl by 1.5l from Kargese in a time of 4min17sec. Triumph is over 2m1f but if race had been 2m I think Kargese would've won. Sir Gino won the Boodles Anniversary hdl from Kargese by 3.25l in a time of 4min23sec. Sir Gino would've just about have won at Aintree if the race had been 2m. The other complexity is that Kargese didn't settle at Cheltenham but was considerably more free at Aintree. The Arkle isn't quite 2miles - it's 1mile, 7 furlongs & 199yards so will be won in a time a bit quicker that what Majborough did in the Triumph & what Sir Gino did at Aintree. Sir Gino won the Wayward Lad nov chase in a time well under 4mins - 3min48secs. The Arkle will be won by a speed horse & I think Sir Gino is a bit quicker than Majborough but not by much so he wouldn't want to get any shorter than 4/5.

Sir Gino was eased up at least 1f out and crossed the line in a canter in a time 3 second’s faster than average. He’s simply a machine. Marlborough’s form took a knock at the weekend when Tullyhill + Asian Master were beaten by the first time out Mistergiff. Also in Majboroughs first race he was given and easy lead by his 2 stablemates obviously adhering to orders and he ultimately needs further. Sir G simply posses far more speed and is a natural 2 miler

jonbon wont win at cheltenhams queen mother chase but is a knock bet for the clarance house i think ,i would say galic be the bet for queen mum he was never going to win few weeks back with that done he be a differant horse in 8 weeks

No horse has ever won a grade 1 at Cheltenham wearing a hood, let alone having a Tongue tie. The history of the Moscow Flyer is awful and the history of 5ur olds isn’t good either. Too many people looking at the Sir Gino form of 2 yrs ago, Sir G won that race with consumate ease, which very much flattered Mundi
