Probably waiting with a list of nonsensical, purely fashionable red flags to check too. What’s interesting about this song and video combined is that he seems like that guy who’s been through so many females and doesn’t have time to try again (hence his “unawareness” of her). She sure notices him which is to be expected of him (since he puts effort in attracting). The part that’s really interesting is the book “A primer of Jungian psychology” which explores the “hidden depths of the mind” and the ideas of the 8 types of personality. I almost feel like he left the book there on purpose to test her in seeing not only if she would return it (which he probably sensed she would do due to attraction), but to also see if she paid attention to what the book was about. If she returned it and didn’t say anything about the book, she’d be considered shallow (just “looking” for a man like him), However if she did talk about the book then he’d find personality in her.
