That was an excellent video and helped me understand my system more, however I do have a question. My Chlorinator never seems to lose any fluid in it, and the Uni dose pump I have (similar to the one in your video) is very loud, to the point you can hear at my next-door neighbor's house. Of late my water also smells extremely bad, could my pump be bad? Thank you!

Hi Bruno. Everybody's system will be different on the chlorine bleach mix in their tank depending on how much iron sulfur. The best way to know if you have enough chlorine is test for chlorine using a simple pool test kit you can get from Walmart I prefer the one where you add five drops to get a little bit of yellow. You want to stay on the low end of a pool scale. You can use pool chlorine in your mix tank just remember pool chlorine is twice as strong as household bleach.

It seems to be at 35 gallons perpetually, leading me to believe it's filling up somehow. Upon feeling the black line, you can feel water being pumped. You're the best, thank you kindly!

I filled the chlorine 3 months ago. The level of chlorine tank is still the same, not going down and water smelling bad. I still hear the clicking sound when the water running. Some one can help me on this issue

Great Video. I'm a novice at well maintenance. I checked the water level in the chlorine tank this morning and noticed quite a bit of sediment laying on the bottom of the tank. I'm guessing I would let the water level get down close to the pump intake and assuming I would unplug the pump and invert the tank to empty it and hose it out to clear the sediment. Someone please let me know if my thinking is correct
