Applications of Electroplating:- 1) Chromium is a shiny metal which doesn't corrode and it resist scratches. It is deposited on other chep metals such as iron to make car parts, taps, bicycle handles, wheel rims etc. This makes them look more attractive and also resists corrosion. 2) Gold/silver is electroplated on jewellery made out of a cheaper metal to make it look attractive. 3) Food kept in iron cand gets spoilt because of rusting of iron. To prevent this, Iron is electroplated with tim, which is less reactive than iron. 4) Zinc is electroplated on iron to prevent it from rusting. This process is called galvanization. Nowadays, galvanized pipes are available in markets for using them in areas where water usage is more. Thanks a lot for this video sir! ❤
