I bought this stuff years ago but never really found a good use for it. Its not strong enough to tackle any on baked on brake dust and for maintenance cleans, I just use car wash soap.

I am a big fan of the Eagle 1 "A-2-Z" Wheel cleaner. I get it on Amazon, a 1/2 gallon jug is only 14.59 Lasts me quite a while, at least 30 car washes

Yes....hurricane season brewing and usually the summer rains miss Destin...we have what we call "Destin Dome" to shelter us from afternoon rains. Your golf course will look great after renovations ⛳️

I had a whole bottle of this, and after using it, I decided it is a super lack-luster wheel cleaner. I prefer meguiars D143 Non-Acid Wheel and Tire Cleaner. Makes 3 gallons for $18.

I have the same problem with brake dust on my 15 mustang gt with 6 piston brembo brakes. They get rediculous amounts of dust. love your videos man, keep doing what you do!

I watch a lot of your videos and just tried Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner, used a vent brush to scrub the crud off wheels that have not been cleaned in years. The stuff did an amazing job and turned brown like coffee with the brush, it was just hard on the painted center caps. I'm doing a full detail because this van looks like a bomb went off inside and it has not moved in three years as part of an estate.

I have this wheel cleaner and I'm really not a fan of it at all. I don't think it made much of difference on my wheels. The great Stripper Suds soap by itself with the brushes is probably what really cleaned the wheels. We've both had different results on products, so if it worked for you, awesome. Me personally, it's not a product I will be buying again.

here is what I find when it comes to this stuff or any product, it's meant to loosen up the dirt and then you actually come back with the soapy water to get the loosened up dirt off.

I use this on my rims, and i own a gallon a adams wheel cleaner. Reason I use this is it is far less harmful to your rims finish even though I have a sealant on my rims i still know that this stuff cleans and doesn't harm the finish of the rim. A lot of the rim cleaners like adams that turn purple are pretty harsh and diablo wheel gel is just a soap and is really light to the finish

yes they put out tons because of the type of brakes they are, a few days of regular back and forth driving will give you a nice layer of brake dust.

I've tried all the expensive and boutique wheel cleaners but I keep coming back to turtle wax all wheel and tire cleaner. That stuff just works. Perfect for a daily driver.

You can use the Diablo gel in the bucket as well for a soapy solution. I hated the smell myself.

a wheel cleaner will loosen up that stuck on brake dust so it basically makes it much easier to clean!

Eagle One is amazing, it has much better cutting power but this isn't bad for your average wheel dust!

I actually love the Eagle1 wheel cleaner (in the orange bottle). Cheap and safe for painted and factory coated wheels, and it works really good. You can get it CHEAP on Amazon I haven't tried the CG Diablo Gel but the reviews aren't that favorable against anything other than fresh brake dust (nothing baked on)

Great video. I have found CG overall to be too boutique-y. I bought their orange sticky wheel and tire cleaner but did not perform to other labels. I knew of the existence of Diablo Gel and saw other videos out there but just was not impressed. I even got their Butter Wet wax and their Black Light Glaze for my black highlander but did not see the performance I was expecting. I actually clayed, polished and waxed my suv using meguiars stuff four days ago and it has unbelievable gloss and shine that I could not get with CGs stuff. Anyway I am trying to use up the gallon of my CGs wheel cleaner as soon as I can to free up space in my garage needless to say. 🤔

Vs Diablo, CG tells me my Sticky Orange Gel is applied and used the same. Do both help? Yes. But I believe the mechanical action and additional soaps finish the job.

Honestly, this was one of the worst so-called wheel cleaners I've used. Retail Mothers, Meguairs, and Eagle One all put it to shame. The only thing it did was leak on to my work bench and eat into the finish. Now, I'm using Meguiars Wheel Brightener but if you want a retail product, Meguiars Ultimate Wheel Cleaner is a good solution and can double as an iron remover. I like some Chem. guys stuff but not this.

Chemical guys products are hit and miss the maxi suds works wonders in the foam cannon tho! Also the VRT dressing is a great product! But some waxes and glazes look great but don't last long

Yea if you don't use the pressure washer to activate the suds in the bucket it doesn't work well. I usually put maxi in the foam cannon and use meguiars gold class in the bucket
