Question: what do the numbers mean on the polishing /cutting compounds mean? 36 is lightest and the numbers get smaller the more aggressive it is. The opposite of sand paper. So I was wondering what the numbers actually represent because with normal thought the numbers would get bigger as it becomes more abrasive. It’s always been a little confusing to me. Thank you.

If you are graduating from v36 to v34 or v32, would you change out the orange pad for a clean one for each subsequent step? Thanks for the video. Well done.

Hi Dr Larry - if you're going from less aggressive to more aggressive like your example, and it's within the same session, you can keep using the same pad. If you're going the opposite way or the pad has been sitting for a few hours we recommend going with a fresh/clean one for best results! Thanks for watching 😀

Thank you for the Great video. I Really appreciate watching someone who has never done this before - like me - it is a great way to learn 😀! Please post more videos of someone doing the detailing while a “professional “ watches and guides them.

What's the best outcome for buffing a scratch that catches the nail? Cause the quote I got for the paint job was 1200, which was for two doors.

To answer your question the bodyshop would have to blend both panels when they paint it
