i thought the end as a metaphor,from when he said "you will protect the world and i will be protecting you". we can see her protecting the world (others who is going through the same things as her) and him protecting her while she does that lıke the old tımes.

لا ، النهاية لم تكن مجرد استعارة ، في الرواية الحقيقة ، الفتاة لا تعترف و لا تدخل السجن و إنما تستمر بإنكار علاقتها بالجريمة تماما مثلما طلب منها البطل و هو يدخل السجن و بعد 4 سنوات يتم الإفراج عنه و البطلة في تلك الأثناء تكون قد تخرجت من جامعة الحقوق و تستعد لدراسة الماجستير ( يعني تريد ان تصبح محامية ) و بعد ان تم إطلاق سراحه اجتمعوا مجددا و كتبت البطلة رسالة إلى الشرطي تقول له فيها ان البطل قد خرج من قرابة الشهرين و منذ ذلك الحين و هما سوية دائماً
