The lead actor's acting is so natural.. His reaction to each and every situation is well directed and acted... How come a 17 years old is so well versed in acting... His reactions are epic...some examples 1. He has an unexpected reaction when she kissed him 2. The reaction on his face when she asked if it's hard (to sleep on cauch)... So natural.. 3. His reaction when the police said about his mother 4. His reaction when he was dragged away and getting arrested... Maturity required to understand the expected facial action for a scene and talent required to carry out the acting..he has both Superb....

Am i that sensitive or this movie literally finished all my tears, i kept sobbing after it ended like i couldnt hold my tears. That scene when they were looking at each other without talking, just silence and tears it was pure perfection. This isn't the typical love story that people would see on movies, they portrayed a raw and naked love 🧡 10/10 movie

I’m back after watching the movie for the third time now. One of the best acting’s I’ve seen in a long time . The emotions felt so real that I actually enjoyed a romantic movie . Which from me says a lot . I absolutely despise romance because it’s cringe yet this movie is like they never even Heard of cringe. It was amazing . Their chemistry was of the chart. The heartfelt slow plot making it perfectly realistic made me cry. Honestly definitely a 10/10. These are the kind of movies that I except to have many rewards.

This movie was great from start to finish. A cinematic masterpiece that will put you on an emotional rollercoaster. It did make me quite depressed for a day or two after watching it. I think this was one of the only movies to make me shed some tears in all of my life. I had a girlfriend who met me under the same circumstances and she endured a lot of abuse. After some time and a bunch of altercations it finally ended with 2 girls and one of their boyfriends being expelled. We are not together anymore but thank you Ji-Soo for showing me what real love feels like.

The movie appeared on my local channel one day, and unintentionally I watched it. It happened too, that I just finished watching Our Secret (a chinese drama) And easily I could tell, just how much romanticization was put into the drama and how much brutality was put into the movie, when both of them portray about the same theme (e.g. coming of age, teen rebellion, friendship, society, college entrance exam). Indeed you watch the world with perspectives. Drama/film is fiction.

I JUST WATCHED THIS MOVIE on 1/29/2021..and WOW...i'am SHOOK TO MY BONE...this movie had everything a sad real life drama..also.how when in need of.help everyone says you should ask for.help but when you do they come up with every.reason why they.cannot but when you react.to the.ones.who.are hurting you they are willing to help the accused and the one who needs the.help they.put them away.But really this movie gets an Super A+++ it was great..and the acting OMG..was surperb..and the girl who committed suicide telling her back story wow it was sooo sad and so true even the girl who played the bully was.great i truly hated her...even her bully friends did a great acting job..and the two main actors what can i say their chemistry was once in a lifetime..boy these two actors must be nominated.for.everything OMG..WOW I'M DEFIANTLY SHOOK I WILL BE WATCHING THIS MOVIE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN....OH....AND THE SONG IN THE MOVIE WAS UP LIFTING AND SAD AS WELL AND THE ENDING i have never teared up so.much since the.first.time i saw a imatation of life 1959 version..also a ticket to bountiful 1986 versions...but this movie is a BIG GEM IN A TIME OF SMALL MOVIES..WOW.

This film is honestly one of the best but also physically mentally damaging films I've watched and even watching this I need to take a few breathers because I will end up crying my eyes out.. This triggers me off no end especially when she taping her work together and he find her with her hair cut.. The pain and heartbreak in his eyes because he feels its his fault as he wasn't there to protect her.. Honestly if I watch this film at any point again I will not be speaking to anyone for about 6 weeks after it

This movie struck me with much heart ache. Growing up poor and bullied as refugees in small town white America, we were often terrorized by racist white kids because the system never took action against them. I hate when someone tries to explain or make excuses for bullies. No, bullies are not just having fun and yes they do intend to hurt somebody. It’s like telling a rape victim he/she was the one who caused the rape. And that victim shaming is why bullies are so bold especially in USA. USA supports bullies…that’s why as a nation they bully other weaker nations.

I have read the novel it was based on, tho with title variations if u search it up, "to the youthful you, so beautiful" or "in his youth, in her beauty" by jiu yuexi, to me they have personified the characters so well. I still cry when i see clips of the film, i cannot watch it tho, i might try, but reading the novel was one of the most heartbreaking novels i have read.
