Beautiful interpretation. Excellent phrasing and technique. Thanks for posting my favorite aria from "Freischeutz". It looks a little strange, like Annchen is hitting on Agata (unless I'm missing something here) but in any case, great singing.

I'm doing this aria as part of my Fall repertoire and I thought it was a little strange as well since Annchen is Agathe's cousin/relative. I always interpreted the aria as Annchen teasing Agathe about Max. This definitely adds the comedy though!
