Pasting of political and commercial posters on the road side walls and road medians must be prohibited . This gives a very unclean and shabby look to the city.

That's exactly the problem with horizontal development that's happening in TN.... Chennai being the 4th biggest metropolitan city in India and 33rd largest city in the world requires more concentration from the government.... But govt is not ready to focus the city! The 2nd problem is it's people ( yes I'm including myself), ppl dosen't have enough civic sense here.... They litter the city upto the core as if like it's someone's property and not their own.... 3/4th People of Chennai would never claim the place to be their own 😢

Many metro railway works going on in and around Chennai, that's why you are seeing many narrow and uneven roads in Chennai, by 2027 you will be seeing Chennai even more better than top cities in the world!!

Bangalore has more greenary compared to chennai the weather is always pleasant throughout the year but chennai has better quality roads well maintained and most of them look clean and well maintained chennai scores over civic infrastructure than bangalore

Pradeep blr is in hill station da. So climate will be mild always throughout year. Every elevated area have lesser temperature. Nothing surprise is there. Chennai is in semi desert, so it have always higher temperatures

Tamilnadu has Lage number of tourist visits so it's not mandatory... You cannot see Tamil Hoardings in Chennai but out of Chennai maximum every Hoardings in Madurai,Salem, Trichy and southern districts you can only see Tamil Hoardings 😄 But as the guy said in the comments the posters destroys the looks of the city 💔

Roads are very dusty. And the city looks outdated. Modernize a bit. But cleanliness is missing for sure and people look poor. So income levels need to go up.

Looking at satellite maps and YT videos, Chennai infrastructure is way behind North Indian cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad etc. Your city looks like an urban village in front of major Indian cities. One only has to look at Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai etc to understand how advanced these cities are. People in the above cities also are a lot richer as you can see luxury malls and car showrooms plenty. Also, all these cities have cleaned up their riverfronts and developed them - you can clearly see them in sat pics. Chennai has done nothing and it only has a fraction of the infrastructure these other cities have. Get out and go visit these cities first. I see significant changes even in Varanasi as you can see city roads all widened and made world class. All this from just YT videos and sat pics.
