I go to Thrissur from chennai very often as it's my wife native is there and i always start by 9 pm from chennai and reach Thrissur by 7am in one stretch and traffic also willl be very less during that time. Only road I hate is that ulundurpet salem as those sticks between the road causing delays. Otherwise everything is fine. My only suggestion for you is the petrol rates differ between chennai and Kerala. You find fuel cost less in chennai and it's better to put full tank so you can save few hundred rupees when you compare overall petrol expenses during the entire journey.

Sure sir.. Agreed.. Yes ulundurper salem road is bad even we told many times in our Coimbatore Roadtrip videos.. Extension work is going on there.. Lets see.. And petrol its a goos tip. 👍🏻

@@MadhufromChennai94 yes petrol expenses is important as we shouldn't waste money unknowingly. If we are heading to some destination which is either in Kerala Or andhra its better to put full tank from chennai itself as fuel rates are less in TN compare these 2 states. For example in my case as I often go to Thrissur in Kerala i put full tank in chennai itself and while returning I will fill only sufficient fuel to touch Tamilnadu border and once I cross the border Tamilnadu rate will start applying which is lesser than Kerala so by this i can save 3 rupees per litre and for total 80 litre i can save 240 rupees. But pondicherry and karnataka is completely opposite as fuel price is less compared to TN. So we can save money by putting full tank from that location and come back to chennai.

That bridge is one way in opposite direction. Straight to chennai and right to namakkal. Towards bangalore or coimbatore there is no bridge in that place.

Chennai to Coimbatore what is the Toll price now sister... When did u start in Chennai(Time). Any improvement made in Ulundurpet road ?

Chennai to coimbatore toll rates increased from April 1st. In some tolls.. So the revised toll rates might be around 920-940₹.. We started by 3.45 am last Wednesday and reached coimbatore by 1.30 pm. With 2 tea breaks and 1 breakfast break then 1 hr shopping in tex valley.. Ulundurpet road extension work done in some places.. Work is going on in some places.. Better compared to before.

Sister, how was the rooms and stay in The Reach hotel? Is it safe for family? How was the staff behaviour? Facilities in hotel like lift and car parking? Any mosquito menace in room? I am planning to Kochi, is it good to book a room there?

Its a decent room and hotel is good.. Its safe.. The staff and service was good. It has lift and limited parking space only.. At the time we went we got a space just before the hotel reception.. We dont find any mosquitoes there.. Its a budget room. Costs, ₹1500 per day..
