I saw hua in the the singer 2018 tengri video and at first didn't think much of him. I think I came across a link in a dimash reaction video and I never looked back since. Huahua is my favorite artist now. He is deep and profound and also a master of many trades. His live performances are always amazing. Stage presence is just on point. I search daily every few hours for new reactions of him. Please react to Dad I'm home. I think it is fabulous how he transformed a former rap song in a day into a emotional masterpiece.

It's so interesting. I have watched and listened to music from US and UK for decades. Found Dimash in a friend's facebookpost by coincidence. Looked for more songs with him and ta-ta-ta found out how boring and predictable the US/UK music is and how much creativity is boiling in the east with China as a center. Couldn't be more surprised.

No need to be confused, you have just discovered one of the most influential Chinese singer-songwriters. He, like Dimash, uses a variety of styles in his music, as you have already observed, has tremendous stage presence/charisma, and is totally dedicated to his craft, and shares an intimate connection with his audience. He is also very popular in China, with recent concerts (90000 seats in the "Bird's Nest" in Beijing) selling out in minutes, sometimes seconds. Actually, he made a bet with his fans that he could "snatch" a ticket for his own concert, or he would shave his hair. The result, he had to shave his hair. Enjoy listening to more of Hua Hua. Anything, you never know what you will get, it is always changing, with lots of colors, like a kalidescope.

I said "HOLY SH*T" when I first heard him too. Also, I used to not really like rap until I heard Hua. He raps positive stuff, not gangster or thug stuff. I really enjoy his rap, but not any other I've heard. His ability to perform multiple genres then blend them altogether in a cohesive way in the end is brilliant. Wait until you see his other performances. For me HUA = MIND BLOWN, on almost every single performance. I have to see him perform live in a concert and plan on flying to China to do so in the next year or so. We should get a group of us to go!! That would be a blast!

I watch performances by many singers but I only spontaneously click on all videos by Hua, Dimash and Sohhyang as I know virtually every single performance by them is world class. Hua is the only guy I know in this world who can do opera, pop, ballads, rock, rap equally well. Its unbelievable how one person can be so proficient in all styles of music. You just nailed it. There is no specific genre, it's Hua genre, even yours truly stated that. Really hope you follow him on Singer 2017 episodes and you will see so many styles and some shocking artistic performances. As you see from this he is a magnetic stage performer and most creative composer and rearranged of covers. He makes it his own. Those who appreciates artistic music interpretations will appreciate Hua as he is out of the box performer.

After watching quite a few of his videos, there is no denying that he is an extremely talented and creative artist. He doesn't fit into any single genre or mold...he can pretty much do it all and, you never know quite what to expect when you listen to a new song of his. Nice, loved that you reacted to him. He is not the artist that rapped with Dimash, that artist is a rapper, Hua chen yu is everything. This song is maybe kind of confusing as a first introduction to him, but it is still so perfect for exactly that, it shows much of his vetsatility in genres, he switches so easily, and make it work like one wouldn't have imganied og would. But, you need to know, that you can never know what to exept from him, he does it all. Rap, rock, opera, balads, pop, lullabies...He is extremely versatile. And importantly he has his own unique style, like you witnest a fraction of here. I so so hope you will react more to him, I have you a list with links, they are all great songs.

BRAZIL - I'm a fan of Dimash's voice, Terry Lin, Tengri, Han Hong, but I'm also a fan of Hua Hua. He is a musician, an extraordinary singer, who fills stadiums in China. He is very recognized in the Music industry in China and as someone said in the comments, like Dimash he mixes genres, is persistent, does not allow himself to be manipulated in relation to the subject of his music, and is innovative. Keep going Hua Hua is worth it. Much of his work is inspired by his childhood, which was very lonely. He turned to music as escape. As I understand it, Nunchucks comes from the persona of a young teen. You can see it in the rapid change of direction within the song, as well as the lyrics and subject.

Here's a factoid about this song that flies under the radar unless you're a fan of chop-socky cinema--the lines about kicking down a sign labelled "sick men of Asia" is a reference to Bruce Lee doing the same in one of his early kung fu flicks. Hua Chenyu is an amazing artist--most of his vids have English subs available if searched for. It's pronounced Hwah Chen you, Hua Hua to his fans, he is a 30 year old genius and uses his voice as an instrument and like Dimash he likes to mix up genres. Here its Classical Chinese opera, rap, rock and classical western music. He is also doing Tai Chi 🤪 he is a total rock star in China 🤟 It's only in the US that you have to categorize music into separate genres, around the world musical innovators are producing magical music without the restriction of genre. When they come I go rebel and we play “ Lay Down” and then we play “ I don’t care “ by each artist. Each draws a part of the Human experience. as a Dimash fan...I came across him last year. He is very interesting. He was raised by a single father who was absent from the home most of the time of his upbringing. He has a natural talent that he used to express himself. Very interesting young man of about I believe 30 yrs old now. As said in other comments he was bullied because he not what is seen as the "norm" in China- where you are to conform with what society says is good and proper. First time with Hua? He is an amazing artist, my favorite RIGHT behind Dimash. He can rock out, rap, sing incredibly beautiful or make you cry like a baby. His song Child is amazing. Huahua! (Hwa Hwa, I think is pronunciation.) This young man is considered a vbit of a genius...you can see why. He also doesn't consider his spoken words as rap, so much as a spoken continuation of his rock. He included some classical opera tones for the show. This competition The Singer encourages the artists to test and combine forms and this is the result. Outstanding performance, a bit difficult for us westerners to comprehend as we like to organise art in boxes. I can’t even imagine how you found this song, a couple of days ago the copyright holder (as I understand it is the Chinese organizers of the show) deleted absolutely all the videos from the program Singer 2017, 2018 and 2019. There were videos (with millions of views) about Dimash, Hua, Tengri, Terry Lin. It’s really a pity, but it’s good that there are copies, and maybe video bloggers will no longer receive copyright infringement warnings. Very cool song, I’m personally closer in spirit to Dimash but Hua is a very talented, musical guy and I really like some of his songs. He also has very big fan base in China=)

When I visited the official KZbin channel saw that it was clean, absolutely all the videos with many singers were deleted, this is strange. But as I wrote earlier, it’s good that there are copies of many performances

It's not pronounced as Wa Chenyu, whoever taught you that disregarded the H in his surname Hua. Try saying it like "hoo-ah" and don't be shy with the aspirated sound of "h" :-)

Honestly, I like Hua Chenyu, but if Dimash songs I can hear them every day, Hua Chenyu only once a week. Sometimes I have the feeling of heaviness that made me sad when I hear Hua Chenyu.
