Her MOM was NOT Part Cherokee. No one in her Mom's family were any part Cherokee according to Family who were around at the time her Mom who was an aspiring actress was saying on TV. It was mostly for Publicity but now her children think it's true.

Sweet revenge...they had to eat it, when their God, Gene, decided to love Cher, too, and even recorded with her on his solo album.

Mike Douglas's show aired 90 minutes each day and had a week-long guest host. They used to drive guests from NYC to Philadelphia by limousine to be on the show. His show made Group W a fortune but in the end, despite the ratings still doing well, they canceled the show and replaced it with John Davidson (hoping to attract a younger audience). Davidson's show barely lasted 2 years

Those so-called fangs turned me on ,so.There are double stacks that look ugly ,THEN,there are Cher's.Once new a girl in middle school who had the double stack.And like Cher she stacked them beautifully.I just wanted to kiss her.Friends said why ?HELL, I don't know.Seen her five hers ago ,she still had her schoolgirl figure.She's forty-ish I should've went hard to have her.Thumbs Up!

Jees. I saw all these programs when i was a kid. I loved the guests but could never get the mike douglas thing. Cher looks great here, and even she doesn't get it. It was a strange time - great people, wierd attitudes. Just can't stomach the man.

David Mayhew Mike Douglas was always very traditional, non-controversial, probably square by many people's standards. He was a big band singer after WWII. He was very popular with the older generation (older to us, that is). But, he was one nice guy, never put his guests on the spot. You can see in this dialogue with Cher how polite she is, as everybody was with Douglas. As you may know, Douglas always had a star co-host the full week with him. John Lennon liked him and asked to co-host the show for a week. So, John and Yoko was co-host and I remember Douglas announcing it well ahead of time because it was very special to have them as guests especially because they were a little out of the ordinary as the type of guest on his show. The story goes that, during that week, another guest said something rude or awkward to Douglas right there on the air and Lennon stepped in and suavely saved Douglas from being embarrassed. Such was the respect Lennon had for Douglas.
