Q&A with Cher on The Mike Douglas Show

My Dad and I were in the audience, front row. This episode if it’s the one I believe it is, aired twice that yr. (1979) We have been searching for yrs to find it. He passed away January 14, 2022 from Covid at almost 93 yrs old. It would mean the world to me if I could track this full episode down somehow. It pans over the audience several times , and I remember at 17 how I felt so special being there with the amazing Cher. I finally was able to see her live in 2019, and she was absolutely stunning, and a voice that has only gotten better with age ❤️

@@misslb4800 I saw Cher in 2019 as well!! It’s hard to believe she’s in her 70s. She’s not only still so beautiful, but her voice is as strong as ever. Thank you so much for the condolences for my Dad. I miss him more than words can say. ❤️

Does anyone know where I can find this full episode? 40 some years ago my dad who is now 90, and I sat in the front row. As a special memory for him , he would be so delighted to be able to look bad and relive so many wonderful memories from our trip

Love Cher's look here. Marie Osmond had a similar look with the hair slicked back and the flowers around the back on some of her concerts spots on the Donny & Marie Show during its 3rd and 4th seasons.

patty 8873 she never had any eating disorder. Cher has always admitted that she has always been naturally slim. In fact, if you look up pictures of her you can see her body has never changed until she was in her 50s

I seriously wonder what she thought about that goofball old man telling her that she's skinny at the time! He's got some nerve! And then Mike Douglas telling her that she is a "Pencil!" Really guys??? On public television in front of a live audience too??!! 😠 Y'all are not perfect in appearnce yourselves! Geeez!!! 🙄 I'm pretty sure she was so embarrassed, but kept it in. ☹ I honestly didn't think those two comments from the men was very nice at all! 😏
