Just an fyi to the home cooks, turkey bacon rehydrates when cooked/baked with anything that gives off steam or liquid. For that taste/crunch factor of bacon, use thin cut bacon cooked crisp in the batter, or veggie bacon/baked prosciutto as a topping.
