Her voice was so good back then, her vibrato was fantastic. It seemed that in the early 70s her voice changed, with that gnarly sound she makes to this very day.

You mean,"Will You STILL Love ME Tomorrow". This is the old SHIRELLES hit....and CHER does a great version of it.

Ronald, I've always wondered why Carole & Gerry didn't include STILL in the title of one of their most popular compositions. After all, it's in the lyrics and sung on all of the verses except the first. What's another curiosity is that a small quantity of the first pressing of the Shirelles recording was given the title as simply, 'Tomorrow'.

It's due to the fact that the lyrics imply that he might not STILL love her, or pretend to love her, the day after they had slept together! Several radio stations were said to have banned it for this reason.

"Tomorrow" was the original title, the first pressing of the record said "Tomorrow". After the record picked up steam, they renamed it "Will You Love Me Tomorrow"

LOVE the video accompaniment! Question; right after the shot of Stan Ross, there's a shot of Sonny. Who's the man behind him - against the wall (wearing the cap & shades)? P.S.? Certainly looks like him. Anyway, as always a lovely - and more importantly - informative - piece. Thank you, as always.

According to a meticulously detailed accounting of a typical mid-1960's recording session in studio 'A' at Gold Star by music historians, JOSH HOISINGTON and CRAIG R. CLEMONS, the shadowy figure seen behind Stan and Sonny is indeed, Phil Spector. By the way, it's nice to see a comment from you again!
