I’d love a tutorial about what you mean about the slip stitch because I just don’t understand and I do want my sleeve to look like the one you didn’t do
@tinki47047 ай бұрын
Im not the creator but since you didn't receive any help i hope this clears things up a bit: So when she did it her way she endet her row (when she was down by the sleeve) with one slip stitch, and then startet her new row upwards with another slipstitch in the "yellow" stitch next to the end-row-slip-stitch. Right? So when you want to go smaller together, you do a third slip stitch, so one slip stitch between, where no row ends nor starts. It should then look like this: end row slip stitch (1st), slip stitch in stitch next to it (2nd), slip stitch in stitch next to your 2nd (3rd) - > this 3rd slip stitch is your start of the new row

This is such a great tutorial! I used it for the sleeves on my cardigan and now I’m using it for the full trim, but I’m hung up on how to make a corner with it. Can you recommend a technique?
@CherilynQ11 ай бұрын
I'd just work on one edge first, then move on to the other if that makes sense. It's possible to make a corner with a nice-looking slanted seam but I think it's way harder compared to knitting.

I’m so glad I have found this pattern. You approach and directions are so easy. I do have a question though. How can I use this pattern to add buttons?
@CherilynQАй бұрын
Thank you so much! To add buttons on a cardigan for example, you’ll need to create button holes on one side. So mid-row, instead of doing a sc, you do a ch1, and the next row, make a sc into the ch1. If you need a bigger button hole, do ch2 then the next row, 2scs. So on and so forth. I hope this answers your question.

This is a great video. I am planning to use this to add bottom ribbing to a sweater, but I was wondering if this method causes a decrease effect, or if it stays the the same size as the sleeve/edge
@CherilynQ2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It does have a little bit decrease effect because the "BLO" makes the rows pull towards each other. If you want it to maintain the same size, the only way, as far as I know, is to make the ribbing separately, get it to the same length and then join it to the sleeve edge.

I am Japanese and you were very helpful in explaining it to me in detail with subtitles. Thank you very much. However, my comprehension was not good enough to understand how to open the small cuffs you explained at the end. If you don't mind, may I ask you to explain it again? I am using a translator. I apologize for any incorrect wording.
@CherilynQ Жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm sorry. The translation can be confusing sometimes. So for the brown cuff, each time you get back to the edge of the sleeve, work a slip stitch in each of the next 2 stitches. For the purple cuff, you would work a slip stitch in each of the next 3 stitches. I hope I'm understandable this time 😊 翻訳: やあ!
