very confusing with the numbers. Row 26 should be 36 not 34? If you start with Row 9 and do 8 plus increase = 16+2=18 not 20. Please have a look.
@maltheaketter9094 Жыл бұрын
Hey, I think she changed it. R 26 does have 36
@sarahmackey477111 ай бұрын
I get what you are referring to as I was also confused but I think she means crochet 16 and then the next one gets 2. I started doing that and numbers came out right
@tiffanywilliams474610 ай бұрын
So if your crochet 8 then an increase which is 2, that makes 10 so far. Then you do another 8 plus the next increase which is 2 that makes another 10. Which makes 20.

Hello I have a question I just want to know why not just work in a round and not turn. Does turning after every round give the ear a better look?

Great video, thank you! I'm a beginner and just made a herringbone single crochet BLO beanie that I want to add bunny ears to. Do you think I'd be able to follow this and swap the stitch to HbSC with a hook size down so they're not too much bigger? I might also be okay with very big ears but I'm just not sure how much bigger they'd be... I guess I could also just try it out and see what happens! Maybe I'll end up doing it exactly as in the video since yours look so nice and I don't want to mess up.

If one is to use a bulky yarn with the recommended crochet hook of 7mm, what should you do to not have them be stiff or too clunky? I've yet to find as good as tutorial as this one but I'm having difficulties translating it onto this bulky yarn :c
@CherilynQ Жыл бұрын
Hi! From my experience, common bulky yarns will just be stiff when you make something of the same size compared to using thinner yarns. Cotton should be softer and has more drape than acrylic. Using a larger hook size than suggested will also help a little.

It's not that hard at all if you understand the basics. You just HDC across the row on even rows, then you INC twice every uneven row untill you get to row 26, then 4 rows HDC across and then you DEC every row until the last row! Maybe the written pattern will help you understand the logic behind the rows better! Just watch a couple of other videos and you'll slowly understand the process!
