Excellent from everyone all around. I'm particularly impressed by Sharon Gilchrist on Bass, she drives this band without overplaying.

That little A model mandolin has really sweet tone! Great job everybody. I enjoyed the twin fiddles in harmony very much, too! I’m an upright bluegrass bass player.

Cherokee Shuffle - a nice instrumental composition. Older musicians can play just as nicely as the young ones. I don't know why unwritten laws exist up today applied a slogan : " What's old it´s bad."

Also the great Herschel Sizemore on mandolin who takes the break at the 5.00 mark. He's the composer of "Rebecca"....a popular bluegrass jam tune.

Yes, it is the wonderful Sally VM on dobro. She's one of the few up there with Jerry Douglas, et al..

@@roadie3124 That's Sharon Gilchrist playing bass. Her main axe is mandolin, and she teaches online, too. A very generous musician and person.

I really enjoy listening to this jam!.... great slide guitar and fiddles!....but I would love to know the bass players' name..... because it's, well,I think its fuckn awesome when the bass is also the percussion section lol... brilliant

They really are fabulous musicians, and I especially appreciate Luberecki's tasteful banjo-playing. There's another video of this same lineup doing a medley of Big Sandy and Uncle Pen---well worth checking out.
