She WAS kicked out!! I was following them CLOSELY! And it was obvious that the lovelis family wanted their kids to run the show!!!! I had a gut feeling it would happen, and it did! Also, Miranda was a singer/guitarist/pianist, I KNEW she would leave at some point, it’s obvious how they slowly degraded her to just a little electronic part! That’s not who she is, and like I predicted, she left! It is clearly the RENA/Nia show! And also, they didn’t even have the decency to talk to Julia first, they announced it to their fans, and THAT is how Julia got to know she was not in the band anymore!!! And another thing, they got dropped from the label as soon as they kicked her out, and Samantha also dropped working with them because she knew it all was so wrong

Why is everyone getting so angry about 5sos signing them? This is good. They'll gain new fans and open for them on tour. I don't get why everyone degrades 5sos for being a "boy band" or creating "pop" music because they dont. Research more of their songs other than Slsp or don't stop. They've got great songs like "rejects" or "social casualty". I love cherri bomb (hey violet) and I love 5sos, so it's kinda rude when people say hey violet made a mistake by signing with hi or hey records.

Ppl are annoyed because the reason as to why they became hey violet was because they kicked Julia out the band, who was the one who started the band, and before that there is evidence that leads us to believe that she might have been bullied while in the band. They are annoyed that after doing all that they were given the opportunity to be signed again. I have no problem with their sound, because they are talented artists, I just think that what they did to Julia was really shitty

A lot of hate in these comments for the way Cherri Bomb broke up. I also wish they had been able to continue with Julia. But I think it's nuts to hold that against the other girls all these years later. I certainly wouldn't want to be judged by things I did when I was 14 or 15.

They became HV when they realized they're nothing without Julia. They were dropped by Hollywood Records immediately after kicking her out. Once 5sos signed them as HV they completely went to shit. They didn't deserve the name of Cherri Bomb anymore in my opinion.

Many musicians had tattoos if you trace back to the 1970s and just look for them. There were there, they simply weren't shown off as they are today. I think we're also interpreting the term rampant differently. I'm not attempting to say people were walking around with full sleeves; those were exceedingly rare for the time. But many musicians did have a handful of tattoos on more discrete, or easily covered areas: shoulder, back, hip, etc. Unlike today where the forearm is much more popular.
