“This is why I live here!” exclaims many a Vancouverites during cherry blossom season. Each spring, as the rainy season fades, city dwellers pack their sweaters away and are rewarded with one of the world’s most cheerful sites: 40,000 cherry trees bursting with pink and white blooms.
Attention, cherry blossom enthusiasts! The most beautiful time of year is upon us, and the mix of spring weather conditions across Canada means that we could be in for some early blooms this year. In Metro Vancouver, residents may already be able to spot some budding pink blossoms in certain neighbourhoods.
