Just when I think I have nothing more to learn about cooking, I watch your videos and learn at least one new thing every single video.

That looks delicious!! I think there’s also a champagne cake with champagne as the wet ingredient

The other reason we had some sunken cherries is that I used the beautiful Fábbri Amarena cherries which are much much heavier than fresh cherries!!! The truth is you can use any fresh fruit you like or Fabbri if you don’t mind a little sinkage!!!

You know, I think any recipe you present right now is going to be festive because you are exuding a festive spirit! That said, I do believe that this is better and more Christmas-sy with cherries rather than grapes .. just my preference I guess.

Great recipe (dust your cherries with flour before adding to batter -- prevents from sinking) -- but what do I do with this citron and candied fruit I have had in my pantry? Nigella has an aversion to any of that in a fruit cake. I can't make a fruit cake with no one to eat it as F'n COVID has destroyed any chance of having any f'n dinner party...... btw, We watched the Derry Girls episode on Celebrity British Bake off last night. Siobhan is a riot. Triggered me to start watching the series.

Looks beautiful. Do you order those cherries on line or pick them up in a store?

Those cherries should be in the emergency guest pantry (are they on your amazon spot?)

The recipe said dry wine, but the video said any wine that isn't dry?
@dinnerpartytonight3 жыл бұрын
The truth is yes!! You can use any wine really? Thanks so much for watching!!
