I think they will go as far as guitar music will take you. If they keep going, and guitar breaks out again like the 90s, they will be top of the charts. The don't-care cool conflicting with the dogged dedication gives them a lot of appeal. I could imagine there being a lot of bands that sound like them 12 years from now.

@@yasuke414 The bassist and the guitarist were dating and he abused her, she spoke out about it and the label Cherry Glazerr (and the bassist's other band) used to be on eventually dissolved because they had such a bad problem with sexual abuse allegations against their bands and staff. Their song Daddi I think is probably about the bassist. You should check it out if you haven't!

great music. i think they will be a lot smoother though when they just go with the flow of what each other hears rather than trying to be tempo perfect. that always seems to create a disconnected overall sound. they were great though. being on the radio probably is nerve-racking anyway for a human being.

I think it's more due to the style of songs she was singing here. I mean, she sounded fucking amazing on "Giving Bad People Good Ideas" with the Death Grips, and that sounded more like punk rock, if not fucking metal! Here, though, it's more like regular rock, which is good for them, but I don't think it suits Clementine's vocals the best here. Or at least, the softer vocals don't do that (yet).

Once they get more skilled/on tempo with each other they'll be incredibly dope. I'm not great at guitar but people saying she's "amazing" at it are pushing it a bit however she's very good. In short, practice and havin' a little more soul makes perfect. Don't get me wrong, I fucking LOVE this band and I'm not some Cali kid that saw them on a poster. Truly unique and cool songwriting.
