මහගෙදර වත්තෙ ජැමසන් ගහේ රතු පාටයි සුදු පාටයි කලවම් වුනු චූටි චූටි ගෙඩි පිරිලා. අපි චූටි කාලෙත් මල්ලියි මායි ඔය ජැම්සක් ගහෙන් ගෙඩි කඩනවා මට තාම මතකයි. දැන් නම් ගහ බිමටම පෙරලිලා. ගහ පරණයිනෙ. ඒත් ගෙඩි හැදෙනව වෙනද වගේම. අපේ ගෙදරත් කුස්සිය අයිනෙම ජැම්සන් ගහක් හැදිල තියෙනව. ඒත් ගෙඩි ගොඩක් හැදෙන්නෑ. එතනට අව්ව මදි, ඒකයි. මම අමු ජැම්සන් වලින් දෝසි හැදුවා. ජැම්සන් වල තියෙන ඇඹුල් රහත් එක්ක පැනි රහ එකතු වෙලා එද්දි අමුතුම රසක් මතුවෙනවා. ඒක හොදට වහපු බෝතලෙක දාල ටික කාලයක් තියාගන්නත් පුලුවන්. මං දෝසි එක හදනකම් මල්ලි ගෙදර ගහේ ඉදිල තිබුන ජැම්සන් වලින් රසම රස බීම එකක් හදන් ආවා. ඉදුනු ජැම්සන් රතුම රතු පාටයි. ඒ වගේම රසයි. මං ඉදුනු ජැම්සන් වලින් හදපු බීම එකක් බිව්වෙ පලවෙනි වතාවට. මල්ලි කොහොමත් එක එක ජාතියෙ බීම ⁣හදන්න දක්සයනේ. මං දවල් කෑමෙන් පස්සෙ කන්න පුඩිමක් හදනව කියල හිතුවත් ඒක බත් වලින් හදන පුඩිමක් නිසා හවස් වරුවට වඩාත් ⁣ගැලපෙනව කියල හිතුණා. ඉතින මම හවස බත් පුඩිම හැදුවා. හරිම ලේසියෙන් හදන්න පුලුවන් මේ පුඩිම මම නිතරම හැදුවට අපේ ⁣රටේ හැමෝම හදන පුඩිමක් නෙවෙයි මේක. නැවුම් කිරි නැහැමින් දාල හදන මේ බත් පුඩිමට අත්තම්මයි මල්ලියි දෙන්නම හරිම ආසයි. ඉතින් මම පුඩිම රට ඉදිවලිනුයි කලින් හදාගත්ත ජැම්සන් දෝසි වලිනුයි සරසගත්තා. එතකොට මම වෙනද හදන රසට වැඩිය නම් පුඩිමෙන් වෙනස් රසයක් දැනුනා. මල්ලියි අත්තමයි ඒකටත් ගොඩක් ආස වුනා. ආදරෙන් නදී ❤

I am amazed by that rice pudding, I had never seen them with dates and cashew; here in Panamá we call it pepitas de Marañón. and we make rice pudding with cinnamon, raisins and lemon or orange zest. delicious. I send you a hug.
