Happy Holidays kings and queens I hope everyone's December is going smooth. I like to thank everyone for reaching out the other week in regards to the passing of my brother. I greatly appreciate it . My brother was a big combat sports fan . He also the one who got me into football where I'm am Everton supporter for life. He played a huge role in motivating me to make videos even sacrificing his own belongings to sell to buy computer parts needed so I can continue editing when we had no money. I'll never forget all the times we'll use whatever spare change we had to get our favorite soda pops (cream soda) before weekends there was fights. The times we'll get up at 5am to watch fights and Japan national team games . Every awesome sports moment during the good ole days with our teams and fighters I was glad we were together to watch and enjoy.

One thing I noticed about Ngannou vs Fury was that Ngannou didn't bite on Fury's trademark feints nearly as much as Fury's previous opponents. I mean, you could see Wilder being visibly flummoxed and exhausted by Fury's rapid fire feints, but Ngannou was mostly stonefaced and solid, letting Fury harmlessly pop-lock the night away. Perhaps it's due to how Fury's feints are fine-tuned to play on the deeply ingrained habits of elite boxers, something Ngannou hasn't fully developed yet.

The balls it took to make this video. I remember your old Cherry picking gone wrong video, and that thing broke ground. All you're doing is pointing out the reality of professional boxing. Rules exist for a reason. Mandatories exist for a reason. I love how you know so much about Muy Thai too. I love Deiselnoi. Everyone called me a idiot for saying Francis would do well and when I saw Fury, I knew he didn't take him seriously. Fury is one of my favorite boxers btw. Wilder managed to duck his mandatories for years. He cherry picked his fights for hid entire career including the first Fury fight which was a classic cherry pick as he thought Fury was a fat, drug addict who had nothing to offer. Al Haymon has a track record of doing this. The WBC have a track record of allowing this. And casual Americans have a track record of supporting this. Where was Teddy Atlas when Wilder padded his record with unranked fighters for the majority of his career.

With only one single exception (Klitschko) everyone he's fought has been a zero - a nobody - a loser. Like Wilder (a complete zero himself) it's easy to look good against handpicked opposition - and even then Fury has struggled - shit, watch his final rounds against Pianeta and Wallin - Fury was gassed and holding on for dear life in both those fights - Nganou was an embarassment (for Fury)

I was so proud of Francis ... Fury couldn't bully him with his weight, nor could he impose his size & strength on him. Francis was just too massive & really didn't fall for Furys' veteran tricks in the ring. I thought Francis won by a close decision because Fury looked bad in there compared to what he usually is. He just looked like he lost a step & Francis brought the fight to him. I was proud of the guy. He was a warrior & for his first time boxing professionally, he gave himself a good showing & earned a lot of peoples respect that night. Bloody fantastic 👌🏽
@jamesteegardner22735 ай бұрын
Yeah, he really did win that fight. He's so strong, Fury tried wearing him out with his weight, but Ngannou was strong enough to carry him. Fury really relies on that one trick, and that's because it always worked until Ngannou. Francis is going to be a terror to deal with in the ring. I hope he makes Floyd money and eventually becomes a promoter. That way he can help younger guys out with fair pay. The boxing game, and really all combat sports in general need a guy like Ngannou to help ensure the guys get decent pay. It sucks that it's all going to fall on his shoulders, but he's the guy who's strong enough to carry them!

Wilder is easily the biggest hype job I've ever seen in boxing. Furys wins over Wilder aren't aging well either. Especially after this Parker beating. One thing about boxing that has always held true, Time will always reveal the truth. I think its safe to say Wilder has ultimately been exposed and Fury is right there. In my book, the 5 BIGGEST cherry picking champions are: - Adonis Stevenson - Not fighting a mandatory or top rated boxer for several years. Refusing to unify against Sergey Kovalev. Real fraud champ. - Felix Sturm - Completely avoided all the best middleweights and refused any unification. Even was caught "buying" his Super-duper WBA title to avoid mandatories. - Riddick Bowe - Completely ran from 1# Lennox Lewis entire career. Dumped the WBC title in a trash can. Fough 2 unranked shot fighters as next title defences... - Deontay Wilder - Only defeated aged Luis Ortiz as best title defence and the rest till Fury was low-picks of fights no one wanted. Easy KO victims. - Tyson Fury - Avoided a mandatory obligated rematch with Klitschko, avoided then WBA mandatoty Luis Ortiz and fighting unrated journeyman Derreck Chisora for a 3rd time + fighting a non-record of boxing opponent in MMA champ Francis (that greatly back-fired) and have runned like a maniac away from Oleksandr Usyk unification....yeah. These 5 men truly ran to the hills to avoid fighting the real challanges! Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Roy Jones Jr, Oscar De La Hoya etc are champs who took on the best of the best.

Great intro. Other than it still being very corrupt, it's ridiculous how no one wants to fight one another. Instead of fighting one another they just make another belt. There is way too much negative stigma on a loss as well. They lose one fight and that's it. Instead of understanding that losing is part of the game and it's a learning experience they are written off so none of the fighters want to "risk" it. That's why you always see 40 -0. They pad their record with nobodies

I think a lot of people give Sugar Ray grief about the Hagler fight but there are reasons to praise him too. I think the grief comes out of the decision which a lot of people think is a robbery but I watched that fight on the day it happened and it wasn't a robbery. It was a close fight that probably should have gone to Hagler but it was a very close fight. I haven't thought about it in a while but I do remember that Leonard was smart enough to steal rounds and people sometimes hold that against him but that's just good ring craft. Also you've got to give Sugar credit for fighting a man who, if you saw them side-by-side you would realize, was the much bigger guy. I definitely miss the Four Kings era.

Yep. This was a great video except for the Leonard part. My god, to call Hagler a cherry? People forget that Leonard was the only one who saw any decline in Hagler, and that he also explicitly and honestly expressed that he had waited. No one says "I'm cherry -picking" out loud, you know. Leonard was a natural welterweight and Hagler a natural middleweight, and arguably the best middleweight ever. You don't call a smaller retired man challenging a bigger all time great pretty much still in his prime "cherry picking".

@@DoctorEduardo That criticism I can take. He was like that. The sad thing about the Duran II fight was that it worked. It almost ruined the great Duran's legacy. Duran also had his bid of mind games with Leonard in his first fight, calling Leonard's wife out as a whore in public, which is even by boxing standards a step over the line. It actually had the effect of luring Leonard into a brawl, something that Duran had an edge over Leonard. The thing is, I personally don't think it was a mind game played on Duran's part, I just can't rid the feeling that it was a genuine outburst of Duran's rage at that time. In any case, what the heck do I know...

@@clubeyxander5132Hard for me to buy later SM champion (only a fight later, no less) Leonard as a natural "welterweight". Sure, Hagler was more used to the middleweight division and perhaps, naturally bigger in the ring, but by no means Leonard was a "small fighter", not to mention Leonard had already won a major title at Jr middleweight, so it was'nt the gargantuan 2 division jump. It really is crazy how bad the Heavyweight division has been since the 2000s. The fact that Tyson Fury is probably the best of them all is embarrassing. Wilders resume is probably the worst out of any Heavyweight in history. Yes he has a killer right hand but it’s who he’s knocked out with that right hand is the problem. His best win is against an old Ortiz and he wasn’t exactly a great fighter. Good, a few years before yes. They’re all so baaaaad. We went from Joe Louis, Marciano, Liston, Patterson, Charles, Walcott, Foreman, Frazier, Ali, Holmes, to Holyfield, Lewis, Ruddock, Tyson, Mercer, Morrison, to Joshua, Fury, Wilder, Parker, Joyce and Dubois. The skill level has fallen so far it’s almost unbelievable. The Klitschkos were the beginning of the end. Yes they were dominant champions, but they’re level of competition was also pretty bad. It seems today that Heavyweights only have to be physically enormous and that’s the only prerequisite. Most Heavyweights today are giants relative to the ones of yesteryear, and it shows. They’re slow, ponderous, have no idea what a combination is, dont have much punch resistance, throw slow pawing jabs that wouldn’t break wind, have next to no defence or footwork, and rarely have any kind of snap on their punches. If a Tyson-esque fighter came around today, (a fast, combination puncher who could slip punches and get inside) he would clean up the division without much pushback. The division is SCREAMING for another star. It’s wide open for an actual boxer with great fundamentals to take over. The card that just happened last week showed how bad the division actually is. All the supposed best Heavyweights on earth were there and every fight was a dull, painfully slow affair. I’m just glad Fury wasn’t there as I can’t stand the man as a fighter or a person. Some say he reminds them of Ali? Or you fucking serious? Ali had more charisma in his peehole than Fury has in his entire skinny fat body. Fury is a loud obnoxious coke head who constantly screams the same four things “DOSSER,!” “PUSSY!” “I’LL FIGHT YOU ANY DAY OF THE WEEK AND TWICE ON SUNDAYS!!” and “THERES NOT A MAN BORN FROM HIS MOTHER THAT CAN BEAT ME,!” over and over. He spends more time on social media than he does in the ring. The man fights once a decade and let’s not forget the time he uppercutted himself in a fight….can’t remember Ali ever doing that….I needed to go a watch Ali vs Frazier after watching that card.

Pro boxing needs to cut these buffs out that pull all the strings and calling all the shots we don't know about. Also 1 belt instead of 4 or 5 for each division is just dumb. It's not a sport any more, it's usually just a big pay day for a few people and disappointed fans. Ufc does it right, 1 governing body and 1 undisputed champ for each weight division

i stopped spending money on watching boxing, the boxers don't give two fks about fans other than their money, the boxers now never give what the fans want. sh!t boxers are getting paid more to lose so a guy can keep an undefeated record.

As a fan of Muy Thai, it is common knowledge that they aren't as good at pure boxing. That's why they sometimes lose against Western kick boxers because westerners put more emphasis on hands. Thais are expert kickers tho and clinchers and elbows tho

You missed one in Barrera vs Hamed. Hamed cherry picked Barrera over Morales or Marquez because he believed he was naturally smaller and because Barrera had been stopped before vs Junior Jones. Barrera beat Hamed and basically retired him.

Those Muy Thai fools are tough, when it comes to taking punishment, i don't think any fighting sport comes close.
