Amazing tip, I never knew to spray with milk. I grow tons of cherry tomatoes. I cut them in half, squeeze out the juice, toss them in olive oil and roast at 425 for about 45 minutes. They are amazing and are great canned like that as well.

Super Sweet 100 is my favorite cherry tomato since I first grew it almost 15 years ago. Every few years we try another variety but nothing else has come close to the abundance and quality, the flavor is outstanding and the plants are very resistant.

The BEST thing I got out of this video is the trellis system. I played the video over a few times at certain areas.... to figure out that there was two T's with TWO gratings that have 4"x4" openings (which I am going to purchase from a fencing company). Brilliantly simple. Simple to construct and simple to harvest .. just by walking under it. Thanks
Go to a farm supply store & get "Hog Fence". It comes with different size holes 4 x 4, 2 x 4, etc.The best thing about hog fence is that it is made from Galvanized metal and won't rust like steel. Priced right. The fence is 4' wide and 15' or so long.

I'm having a great tomato year so far, but nothing ripe yet in the PNW, almost about to have a bumper crop though. Many types since a local hardware store was giving tomato plants away that needed some TLC. I've got sweet 100, Sunsweet, Sungold, cherokee purple and about a half dozen other types. Love you OAG! ps, some of the reason for my success is due to your advice. You are one of my favorites!

I love your videos, sir. I'm keeping notes for when I have more room. My "back yard," as it were, is only about 20 feet wide and maybe 25 feet long, and I can't use all that for gardening, so I am mostly stuck with "potted" stuff at the moment (which I am very proud of. for my first garden, it's doing very well), but I would love to have 2 to 3 times that space, just to devote to some plants, and I love your trellis. When I have the room to do a little more and can go a little wilder (not bound by what the landlord allows in his townhouse back yards) I fully plan to reference all of your videos again. And while I can't do rabbits for meat (first pets as a kid were rabbits, so the idea of eating them.... I just can't) I'd probably get a few pet rabbits again, at least in part for all that fertilizer they poop out. I suppose if I had one question, it would be this: does rabbit poop freeze, and not loose nutrients? I would assume so, but I'm not sure. If someone had a separate freezer just for storage of non-food stuff long term, it would seem that saving and freezing rabbit poop would be a good way to save up a bulk amount of fertilizer.
@OldAlabamaGardener5 жыл бұрын
Hi Nonya, yes, I think it would be okay to freeze rabbit poop, for use later. OAG
