Hi Cherry! I’m really happy that you liked the wand. I had a great time working with AccioBox on this project. I’m so sorry to you and everyone else that my shop name was so difficult to read on the box. It is an ambigram, which is something meant to be readable both upside down and right side up, and this one reads “Crooked Wands”. I designed it years ago at my sister’s insistence as making ambigrams was a hobby I had before I started carving wands. I was never really happy with the way it turned out, but I never got around to designing something more legible as I never expected to still be making wands after 6-ish years. I plan to work on a new design sometime this year. Great video and keep making magic! 🧙🏻‍♀️🦉⚡️ Best Wishes, Dave Crooked Wands

I totally relate on 'never got around to designing something more legible' haha as that's how I feel about my channel branding being so old - and also aim to work on a new design this year! Funny my boyfriend said to me while watching the video that the logo name looked like "crooked wands right side up, and upside down" - I'm glad he was actually right haha I found it very cool even though Cherry, and other may have not been able to read it right away, my boyfriends saw the logo name immediately haha he also thought it was a cool idea, but a couple minor tweaks would help it's legality; but the actual history behind the logo so interesting!

the pins is really pretty! I think that's also my fav out of the three options. the tapestry, I would use it as a furoshiki to wrap a present in for a magical friend or as a furoshiki to keep one of my tarot decks in. ^^ especially if you don't want to damage the box when travelling. =)

I had to turn it over and over in my hands in order to determine that it was cast. It's VERY well done. I also got the Phoenix tail feather. Now you have to seriously lower your expectations for January's box.

You could definitely use the tapestry as a bandana or even a scarf for your purse handle! I agree, younger wizards and witches would love it but probably not for older wizards and witches.

I also got the Phoenix feather and I was really happy with it. the passport wallet is my favourite, as I was actually looking for a new one! I loved this box and I have to say, Accio has been pretty amazing lately. I rarely find something that I don't like and I love the balance they have of collectables and practical items.

Not sure if you noticed but the four wands on the ‘tapestry’ are the Elder wand, Harry’s wand, Hermione’s wand and Ron’s wand. Thought that detail was quite cool. It may have even mentioned it on the cheat sheet but I’m only half way through the video at the time of me writing this comment. 😁😁

5:40 the text does not say a phoenix only one tail feather. It said one feather at a time…sometimes several years apart. Harry and Voldemort’s wands were special because it only gave two feathers (it does note say they were given at the same time and could have been given years apart)

The wand box says "CrookedWands" The design is a rotational ambigram. A rotational ambigram reads the same when viewed upside down.

It’s resin cast from the original wand that I carved for Accio! Box. The date of carving was the date that I finished the original 👍🏻
