I thought it was a weird concept too. There’s 12 days of Christmas calendars that are designed to be gifted on Christmas Day with the doors then opened everyday up until Twelfth Night on January 5th but this one just didn’t make any sense since it was designed to be opened before Christmas… so strange, they could’ve marketed this so much better and then it wouldn’t have looked like such a rip off 😅

Ive never seen Velaris so of course most of these item dont say me much. but it feels a little like a joke to put in one teeny tiny temporary tattoo in one of the boxes. Since you only get 12 boxes for that price I thought at least no "filler" items would be in it. The pocket mirror was beautiful though! same with the locket 😍

yeah, I'm a big fan of acotar but when I saw this calendar advertised to me I went through the spoilers (thankfully they listed all the items) and decided for the price not worth it. most of the items don't interest me, the only thing I really wanted was the chest which you can purchase on etsy

My favorite is the locket and the socks, but I'm not gonna go spend 150 pounds because of them. But it's a great idea for an advent calendar. I would love to see more popular book series to have their own advent calendar, like The Hunger Games, Throne of Glass etc

The necklace is one they’ve already made and is available on their website. It’s a little bit of a bummer because none of it was really exclusive. Maybe the socks were? And the spoon? But I saw plenty they already sell. Feels like the price was the packaging.

Surgical steel jewelry is the absolute best. It might not be expensive but it's durable and never tarnishes, and you can get it wet without worrying at all

I disagree. Surgical steel is actually nothing more than polished tinfoil. Implant grade titanium is the best for any kind of internal jewelry (think piercings).

I'm allergic to surgical steel, got my ears pierced and had surgical steel studs and had the worst reaction, had to switch to gold .

These were straight stainless steel, not surgical steel. People aren't typically allergic to surgical steel, so that is what is used in operations and medical implants. People can be allergic to direct stainless steel. Yes, surgical steel is part of the stainless steel family, but the composition is different, making it the safest metal for implants and operation use.

I agree with you on all the gifts! I do love the mountain theme because of Rhys’s knee tattoo. But i did expect better, especially for that amount of money. I would have been so disappointed to have spent that much money on that stuff. I was hoping they’d remake some of the book jewelry, like Feyre’s black Diamond necklace she received from Tarquin or maybe Amrens blood ruby or something that Varian sent Amren. I know they can be a little more thoughtful about the book and fans than they were considering what they’re charging. The drawers were a good touch, however.

This is a pretty display for Winter holidays. You could add little people and benches and vehicles around the houses and trees. I agree about the sticker. It is not enough of a gift. If it were a metal piece with a magnet it would be cool for your refrigerator or maybe even the top of your lap top.

I’ve never read the ACOTAR series but Cherry’s enthusiasm made me decide to put it on my thr list. That dresser was the cutest thing I’ve seen in an advent calendar. It might be cute for holding paper clips and thumbtacks on the desk. The tree bauble though was very out of place with how cheaply made it was. But I am a sucker for packaging, so if I was a fan of the series, I would probably be gaga over the packaging alone.

My favorite is the little chest. The background is beautiful. The locket was so charming...the jewelry was very nice. This box is over $100+. While clip is practical, the socks are pretty and good quality,but, while like tattoos the one they used could have been prettier, it cheapens the overall calender . I love the calendars very much this one was deceivingly too expensive. This year has been really beautiful this just make it. Thank you, i loved the scenery.

I LOVE to hate ACOTAR. I strongly dislike 99 percent of the characters and writing. That being said I enjoy how bad it is. I love that a lot of people I know who don't read books have really enjoyed it, and it makes me happy to see people reading. I will continue to hate read the series and cheer on those who love it.

Review: okay, not wowing especially as a 12 day for that price, however perhaps this is the start of their products. I'd recommend they add gender neutral, maybe adjustable rope bracelets and some niche collector items as well as useful cozy or bookish everyday items! 💗

I have read this book series and was really looking forward to seeing what was inside. The packaging looked very nice but I was very disappointed with the contents. I agree with you about the bauble and the temporary tattoo. It definitely isn't worth the money it sells for.

The packaging was creative. It gave off good vibes. The items were mostly nice and not too cheap (but when they were cheap, ugh!) I think if a person was a fan of Velaris it would be worth it. Maybe next year they will mix up the mountain / star logo to include other representation. It's better value than some but not the best.

I'd have been so disappointed if I had paid almost $200 and gotten this calendar. There is no where near the value in there. Everything looked so cheap. They couldn't have even put a backing on the earrings so they wouldn't get lost? The ornament, one temporary tattoo? The hair clip looked fine, but in a 200 dollar calendar? Really? I do appreciate that Cherry was honest even though it was gifted. It's why I keep watching! But I kind of feel since she didn't actually pay anything for it, she was generous about it overall. I'd have been so upset if I'd had paid for it. You could get pretty close to everything here individually for much, much less than the calendar.

Also the temp tattoo/sticker(?) Just gave me a tattoo design idea. 🤭 I don't think it's worth the price respectfully, only because some of the items are a little off. I loved the design, they did a fantastic job of making the vision of Velaris come alive in the artwork, and the package is so cute. They did an immense job. ❤❤ Really enjoying this series so far, Cherry. 🥰
