With two Siberian cats in the flat, we just use one of those pet brushes without the plastic nubbins on the ends of the spikes. Works perfectly well and actually lasts long 👍 And no, we don't use the same brush on the cats 😂 it's only for cleaning 👍

Hey cherry you can buy rubber brushes for carpets they work like the scraper but don't break . The rubber bristles scrape out the hairs and causes a static charge so the hairs stick to the brush and lift out . Just as effective and I've had mine for nearly 10 years. You can sometimes find long handle ones too so you don't have to bend

You can make your own stone by popping to an aquatic store, buying lava rock (hardscape) and then using old fashioned school PVA glue with some colouring added. You could bypass the rock and just coat your hands in glue. Satisfying to pick and peel it off.

I use a long handled hard rubber window squeegee on my carpets for hair removal, works great and much larger areas can be cleaned with each swipe.

I’ve had a chopper like that for years and I personally think it’s the only gimmicky kitchen tool that is actually as magical as it says it is. Mine is a brand called Starfrit - same price and is fully dishwasher safe, lid and all! Love it!

I like chopping onions, something satisfying about it. I avoid tears by putting a wet paper towel down where I'm chopping. The part that makes you cry is attracted to the wet towel instead of your eyeballs.

As a speed skater(on rollerblades) I can say that skates or blades that can change from on to another or into shoes are VERY dangerous, they are not secure, and don’t give you the support you need

Thanks for the video! Lavastone can also be used to put essential oils on, for example lavender..which is a calming sent. They are often used as beads in bracelets and mala’s. Or for a a sent in the car, those charms you can hang.

Loved the randomness of this video. I discovered the scaping of carpets a couple of years ago and with two dogs it was horrifying. Just a hint a simple shower scraper will work just as well.

I have 2 long haired dogs that shed. I have a Dyson vacuum for pet hair. It works really well. For those people that don't want to spend hours bent over scraping your rug, this is an expensive alternative. The cat is beyond beautiful!

They have brooms with silicone bristles that are for cleaning hair out of carpets. It might works easier since you don’t have to get on your hands and knees to clean the carpet.

I could do with that carpet scraper...I have a dog who sheds..it works its way to the edges of walls and furniture..every so often I'll scrape it with my hands and get piles of fur, and yes, my long curly hair as well..It would be good if you could attach it to your vacuum nozzle and scrape and vac at the same time...

For anyone planning to buy the skates, I bought a pair and they where fun HOWEVER, after you use them a couple times the wheels become looser so they become louder when you roll around and/or walk in since the pop out wheel joints aren't as tight once you pop them out a bit

I have a spongelike thing that’s made for taking off pet hair from carpets and furniture, and it works really well! My carpet has quite long fluff and everytime I use the sponge I have a mountain of dog/cat/human hair and dust on the floor when I’m done😆

I have a full size carpet scraper. It’s big enough to use while standing up and you can do an entire room in about half an hour. We have three cats and my son and I both have long hair. I got it off Amazon.

An easy alternative to the carpet scraper is one of those rubber window cleaner broom/squeegies. You can get them anywhere and they work like a dream for pet hair removal. It's always so fascinating and gross how much it picks up lol

Cherry, get a squeegee like what you use for windows and use that on your carpets. I can get them at dollar stores and toss once the rubber wears down. It's great for carpets by the baseboards.

The foaming soap dispenser works best with foaming soap liquid rather than mixing your own, also the flowers dont tend to stick to wet hands

Iv seen a few companies make those mini vegetable choppers. Iv been wanting to get the one from the company Kuhn Rikon for a while. Cherry for the soap dispenser yes there are indeed Mickey ones. Mostly sold in Japan buy Disney world will also sell them for their 50th anniversary. I’d recommend though getting some foaming soap to use-might be a little more consistent.

We have a rubber broom/brush to get car hair out of the carpet. It is a bit wider than that. It is kind of like the beater bar material on a Dyson Animal vacuum.
