What a lovely collection! How about DIY of filling one of the empty suitcases with miniatures of items a student might bring to Hogwarts? You could probably purchase some & make some, glue them all in place and “poof” second different ornament (and bonus…a video for the channel). You could make a little clothes hanger for the sweater with some gold craft wire, then add some ribbon so it will hang. They also have doll clothes hangers that might fit! 🤔 🎄 Can't wait to see the finished tree!

Did you know that the Mirror of Erised ornament is a photo holder? You can slot a picture in there or just leave it as is! I bought the calendar it came from before New Years for this year and I can’t wait to finally use it 😍

I have used key rings without the ring bit and put ribbon on them to make Christmas decorations. It might be useful for people who want to re-purpose, and keyrings are usually cheaper and easier to get hold of.

I am loving these ornaments! You would love my tree Cherry. It’s one of those snowy trees and the ornaments are a combo of Harry Potter, Baby Yoda and Firefighter(my job). My tree topper is a little plastic Fire Helmet. I even have a little Niffler ornament; his head is cocked to the side and he looks like he just got caught stealing shiny gold coins.

You could make a load of broomsticks for your tree very easily with twigs and straw. Felt witches hats would be easy to sew. Rolls of thick paper rolled up as Ron’s missing homework. Some feather quills are easy to find. You can get bottle of ink ornaments from cult pens. Crackers are easy to make out of little bits of card and fabric. You could knit a couple of mini hats, mittens etc. And socks. There must be some socks for the elves…….

Love all these ornaments! My favorite ornament of mine is a Hogwarts one which you can stick a light into to make it look like it's glowing and it plays Hedwig's theme. It's from Hallmark, where almost all of my ornaments are from. I also have a Gringotts with the Ukrainian Iron Belly on top and a Honeydukes, both of which also have holes that you can stick lights in.

Hi, For the Mirror of Erised. You could get dressed up and make a sceen of something from Harry Potter and taske a picture. Then print it out the size of the plastic and past it to the back of the mirror. Leaving some of the picture silver to show its the mirror.

Love the decorations, my daughter made a Hogwarts tree topper out of toilet rolls, cotton wool, tissue paper and lights, and baubles using the clear do it yourself ones with curled coloured paper, to represent the houses and then green and silver ribbons and green and silver baubles it looks great

For your ornaments that do not have the golden hooks... you can purchase them from Amazon (very inexpensive) in gold or silver if you want everything to be closer to being matching. You need to try and find the interactive hallmark ornaments. I believe they stopped making them last year. They have all the main characters and a hogwarts tree topper. They connect together and light up and basically play out the first movie. It’s so cool. I got the set for my sister and her fam. They love it! Also cool just to set it out for the holidays if you don’t want it on the tree.

I know I'm late, but there is next year! Does the glass Hogwarts in snow have a hole with a stopper in the bottom? I've seen snow globes where you add your own water, so it's less messy if it breaks in shipping. You could put the H sweater/jumper in one of the trunks & leave it open.
