Yes - I love it & it will be sad to take down at the end of the season, but I put it up early so I have a few months to enjoy it & I think I'll be making it a traditional tree - maybe different colored ribbon/accent ornaments each year :)

What a great theme, Christopher!!! It looks magical!!! I love Harry Potter. I have the box set of movies, and my kids were both grown when i bought them, just for me.... im not ashamed to admit it!!! Lol.... But so many ornaments to have to individually turn off and on, and change out batteries for... wow!!! Happy Christmas to you and Tim, dear Christopher!!! ❤🎉

I'll always enjoy the movies and book :) As far as turning the ornaments on/off changing the batteries - I don't think that I will turn them on too often as they look nice even when they are off. The Christmas lights on the tree illuminate them some, so I am mostly treating them like unlit ornaments (like other ornaments that I have that don't light up). I'll have to show them again during the home tour with the lights off because many of them do still have a soft glow from the string lights behind them (like the frosted clear owl/patronus/castle/quidditch cup/stone/etc.) - but it is very fun to have finally decorated a Harry Potter themed tree! I love it! The tree is gorgeous and not overdone. I won't ask you how much you spent buying those ornaments at over-priced Pottery Barn, eek! I can't begin to count how many hours I spent reading all of the novels in the Harry Potter series, and buying the movie videos as soon as they came out to watch over and over again. I guess once a "child at heart," always one. I'm 73 and still love Harry Potter. I spent summers out on my deck twenty plus years ago reading the books as they were published.

Thanks! Yes, I purchased those ornaments full price, though I saw some of them were on sale after Thanksgiving for half price. I had just always wanted to decorate a tree in this theme & thought it would be fun to show others what the ornaments looked like in person if they had been eyeing any of them on the Pottery Barn website :) I want to read the books again when I get a chance - I loved them & the movies and computer games. I remember purchasing the first Harry Potter computer game with my Christmas money back in the day & loved playing that game!

I love the tree. I read the books at a time when I was struggling with losing someone very dear to me in my life. They provided me an escape from the consuming grief I was feeling. For that, I treasure the fantasy & relief from my emotions even though it was temporary at the time. As usual, your video was wonderful, Love how the tree came out. TY Christopher.

My favorite time of year, Christopher Christmas time! This is amazing. I have to admit that I am probably the only person in the world who has never read the Harry Potter books or movies. I know, scandalous. I was raised very devout Christian and our church was quite against it as a horrible, satanic offering, LOL! My daughter was required to read them in 5th grade and while I talked to her instructor about using a different book series, her only option was for my daughter to sit outside in a chair while the rest of the class read HP. In the end, I caved and let her read the books as I didn't want her to feel or be ostracized. Everyone else in my house read them and loved them and I have since relaxed my views and should probably read them just for the experience. So, while I know the outline of the stories and some of the characters, I am certainly not knowledgeable. Luckily, I know all the pieces you have shown and I feel like this tree is the most special of all because it is personal to you. You have such an eye for decorating and while all of your trees are amazing, this one reflects something that you love which makes it special. Looking forward to more of your videos while decorating for this Christmas.

I have had a similar HP tree for the past few years. The tree is white with navy, gold, and silver ornaments and bows. I have some Pottery Barn HP ornaments, and several from Universal Studios too-which you may want to check out to add to yours! They have some elegant ones that work within my Wiseacres theme-which is close to the look you have too. Hope that helps! At first I struggled finding more elevated ornaments because many of them were too many colors or poor quality, and the Universal store had some lovely ones.

You could add papier maché around the wire stems of your "casted spell" sprays to make individualized wands from the story, especially Ron Weasley's broken and spellotaped wand. And there's got to be a way to make a Jelly Belly garland of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans.

The details in the hagrid's Hut piece is amazing and actually I'm not a gamer but I have been playing Hogwarts Legacy and hagrid's Hut is one of my favorite places to explore.

@ChristopherHiedeman I've been playing since last Thanksgiving I have over 700 hours in I'm on my 4th walkthrough I've got my last three characters set for the 90 year old business quest I can't figure out how to do it in less than 2 hours it's a great quest it's just you get stuck in there forever! I'm still enjoying my country prim Halloweenies and Halloween decor which I put up at the beginning of October and even though it's November now I hate the thoughts of taking it all down because I love them, and Fall is my favorite time of the year with Christmas and Winter being second.
