Isnt this a case of fake it till you make it? To me, it will never be considered as a luxury brand, but for what you get with that price, it is impressive. For the younger buyers, they probably wont see the difference in "Luxury", like an Apple vs Xiaomi.

I disagree. I've been driving Mercedes, BMW, Audi's for years, and with that, I suppose I'm qualified to know what luxury feels like. I bought a Chery Tiggo 8 Pro last June and the "luxury feel" is right up there in the cabin. Engine is really smooth, features and creature comfort is as good if not better. Go take a test drive and try it for yourself. You will be amazed. With 7 years bumper to bumper warranty including engine + transmission, I'd say they are very confident in their product.
